INTRO

I see the new hit documentary
Organic Spies Find Lies as a rare opportunity
to coalese the Organic Movement and put us over
the TIpping Point of labeling GE Foods and
within a period of time eliminating GE Foods
from our Ag system.

Organic Spies Find Lies,
in my opinion is filled with misinformation
and disinformation; however, this does not
take away for the good that will eventually come
out of its success through stirring the pot of
controversy and eventually making our Organic movement
stronger.

In the end, Julia Sabin and Kelly Shea will be vindicated
and the OTA will be honored for all the accomplishments
in has achieved within with Mission Statement and Purpose.

The OTA aspires to educate the consumer about Organic Foods
and extend the number of people who eat organically.
its specific focus has been to uphold organic standards
and keep GMO's and other toxins out of Organic Food.
It has not a lot of good. The move to lavel GE Foods
has not been its primary function, and therefore,
to aim our arrows at the OTA for not succeeded at a goal
that was never its to achieve is a misguided arrow
and ends up shooting ourselves, as one collaborative movement,
in the butt.

Speaking With One Voice to Stop Monsanto and Biotech

As with all David and Goliath battles,
the fight to stop or restrict genetically engineered crops
is heavily stacked against organic advocates.

Again, we all need to stand united.

We now need every ounce of energy, time,
muscle and money to be directed to renewing
the battle in the courts but also to letting
the White House and indeed all of our congressional representatives
know that we do not support this takeover
of our agriculture by a handful of chemical companies.
The divisive public attacking of allies is pointless and,
worse, destructive to our cause.

Simply put, instead of fighting with each other,
we need to fight Monsanto and the forces
that are ignoring the hundreds of thousands of Americans
who support organic and want the right to choose.
All of us who are opposed to the
USDA decision to deregulate GE alfalfa must speak with
one voice. Innuendo and baseless attacks
within the organic community do not serve the organic cause.
They serve Monsanto.

The Organic Spies Campaign wants us to believe
that Kelly Shea is supportive of GMO agriculture
and its aims because the company that owns
the subsidiary she works for has
investments numbers of lines including
organic lines of products and lines that are conventional
and some with GE ingredients.

Industry, such as White Wave respond to
sales. The more we want organic, the more
they product these products.

Kelly Shea is an organic advocate and has written numbers of
reports on NON GMO studies to influence the organic industry
to go in this direction. She is one of our lead NON GMO
Project advocates.

The Organic Spies campaign and its documentary
wants us to see Kelly as having a conflict of interest
because as part of her VP position for White Wave
she is given stock in the parent company.

White Wave are makers of Horizon Organic, a 100 % organic
cheese, and other products, as well as Silk, a 100%
non GMO soybean source since the 90's.

I will interview Kelly further on these subjects
when she returns from a two week trip.

Good to hear back from you! I have put in many hours concerned about the GMO issue. My Spring Campaign was called Organic Uprising, Standing Up for Nature's Original Technology. Lots to talk about. We definitely need to get this GMO Labeling done. I would like to air out all the things that Organic Spies is saying.

Make GMO Labeling Mandatory
More about the Organic Trade Association scandal (OTA). A majority of the "board" has sold out to the GMO pushers and some are pushers themselves. No wonder the USA is one of the few countries in the educated world that does not label GMOs. Rats are in the silo and we need to run them out! This is key to getting GMOs labeled. The OTA board need refurbished.

Make GMO Labeling Mandatory Time will tell about that. Many on the OTA board are officers in companies that are very big GMO producers. OTA has done nothing to stop the spread of GMOs. The OCA and organic spies are rattling the box and we will see what falls out.
