The Practice of Council with Rob and Kelila

The Way of Council
is a practice of speaking and listening from the heart. Through compassionate, heartfelt
expression and empathic, non-judgmental listening,
Council inspires deep communication for couples, families and groups. Council offers effective means
of resolving conflicts and discovering the deeper needs of individuals. Based on the work of The Ojai Foundation:

Compassionate Communication
is a language of empathy and compassion that allows one to speak honestly and
authentically without offending another. People who practice have found greater authenticity
in their communication, increased understanding, deepening connection and tools for
conflict resolution. Based on the work of Marshall Rosenberg:

In this one day workshop for both singles and couples,
we work with the two practices that we value in all of our relationships:

The Way of Council
and
Compassionate Communication

We designed this workshop for people new to Compassionate Communication and Council
as well as for those wanting to deepen their practice.

You will play fun and interactive games and learn a
practice that promotes safety, deep presence and attention.

This workshop will give you an opportunity to delve
into being whole-hearted, authentic and compassionate.
