I WILL BE MAKING SOME COMMENTS ON THIS
BEFORE LONG

I shopped at Whole Foods Market Hillcrest
yesterday.

I went in to buy an organic chicken.
I had no idea that the store had both
organic chickens and non organic.

There was a clear big label on the
organic chicken.

I was glad to pay extra.

I also wanted to see about the R.W. Knudsen
brand, that has come to my attention
due to a lot of energy being stirred up
called the OTA names as well as Julia Sabin
and Kelly Shea.

These aret two of my favorite supporters
of the OTA.

I am looking forward to interviewing Julia Sabin.

I do know that Kelly Shea is a staunch organic advocate
and big support of the Non GMO project.

I want to refresh my memory, but if I am not
mistaken, the Non GMO project was given space
in the Horizon Organic exhibitor book at the
Natural Product Expo West.

I will check my photo archives.

I took a photo yesterday of the RW Knudsen
bottle of Pomegranate juice that was organic.

There is clearly an organic line of RW Knudsen
products and it is pretty obvious.

I also wanted to check on the Silk Products,
one of the brands marketing by White Wave,
the company that Kelly Shea works for.

I took a photo a Silk container of Soymilk.

It has the Non GMO label on it.

There are many products in Whole Foods Market
Hillcrest that have the Non GMO verified label on them.

There is also the Non GMO shoppers Guide
put out by Jeffrey Smith's Institute for Responsible Technology
that lists many products that are Non GMO.

As for as what is GMO, These ingredients need to be
further researched in my mind.

TOUR OF WHOLE FOODS MARKET HILLCREST

I have done some special projects with Whole Foods Market
Hillcrest in the past.

They have been a very helpful store to me when I wanted
to do a five week marketing experiment bringing in
locally grown organic fresh picked that day strawberries.

This store is also extremely helpful to the local organic farmers
and other local product producers.

I may organize a tour of the Whole Foods Market Hillcrest
to point out the NON GMO verified products.

I am going to communication with Ray, the head of
PR for the store. He has been very helpful over the years
with some of my special projects.
