Dear Workshop Presenter,

Thank you so much for your interest in our event! We have looked through all the workshop proposals and organized the time slots for all presenting. Your workshop on "Organic Uprising" is scheduled for Sunday, April 10th, 2011 from 1- 2 pm (Session 2) in the City Heights Farmer’s Market area. We would ask that you check in at the presenter registration station at the conference registration table at least one hour before your wokshop starting time to ensure that you are at your designated location on time so we can keep everything running smoothly.

Next, we wanted to ask you to please complete the following steps immediately, but definitely by Wednesday, March 30th, 2011 noon:

1. If for some reason you cannot make the day/ time allotted to you for your workshop, please let us know immediately so that we can work out a way to change your workshop time.

2. Please send a concise clear title for your presentation, a concise description of your workshop for the program (this should be no more than 3 sentences or 200 characters long), and the name of the presenter(s) as he/she would like it on the program.

3. We need you to confirm the materials you need. For example, if you said you needed a projector and don’t need it anymore please let us know. If you said you needed a projector and still need it, let us know too. Also, we are not responsible for providing any other materials past a projector/table/chairs, so if you need anything in addition to execute your presentation please bring those materials with you.

Just as a disclaimer, this presentation is of voluntary nature and we are not providing any monetary compensation for participating in the event as a workshop presenter.

We greatly value your input and service for this community event. We are looking forward to an excellent event in two weeks and look forward to your presentation. Please remember to send along the additional information we need for the program as soon as you can and by Wednesday at the latest! Thank you again and see you in City Hieghts!

There is a lot to do before I leave for acupuncture
in less than 90 minutes.

I have been taking organic steps this morning
with little garden projects.

I was up about eight hours the night before
with a whirlwind of inspiration.

It came from the workshop words
and the marvelous job that a helper did
on the Cultivating Food Justice Conference.

Organic Uprising has a slot.


There is some kind of deadline for the workshop I have to do....
but the words are fine...
