Tonight, the people of Connecticut spoke out against the Democrat agenda that borrows too much, taxes too much, and spends too much. On behalf of the Republican Party, I would like to congratulate State Senator-elect Len Suzio, Assemblywoman-elect Noreen Kokoruda, and all of our nominees on their strong campaigns for limited government and fiscal responsibility. Tonight’s gains show that Gov. Malloy’s plan to increase spending and institute the largest tax hike in Connecticut history has only worked to further disaffect voters, who understand his agenda will only hamper efforts to create jobs and repair our economy.”
