I woke up feeling great. I got up a bit early, as it snowed, so I would have to shovel and get my car started a good amount of time before I usually do. As I was getting dressed, I looked at my figure and realized that I am actually a very good looking 36 year old. I guess since my self esteem has been in tatters for the last year and a half that I didn't realize how lovely I can look. I have always in the past too pride with taking care of my body and I think that kind of fell along the wayside because of being frustrated, confused, upset and stressed out a lot regarding Phil. And not eating healthy didn't help it along either. I can't imagine how great I feel.
I got bundled up, turned my MP3 player on, and shoveled my deck, my walkway and my driveaway. I also scrapped off my car, turned it on to heat up, while I then sweep my deck off. When I finished, I went in and packed my lunch quickly. A scoop full of lentil and barley stew and a cup of veggies (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) to be steamed.
It felt good to move my body. I am find out that I can feel the muscles working in my abdomen more and more, as I am re-learning to keep them tense and tight. I even danced a bit in my living room, before I put my coat on again in order to leave for work.
Once I got to work, I forgot to grab a Granny Smith apple for breakfast, so I went to the little deli across the street. I knew they had fruit. They had fresh blue berries and cantaloupe, so I got two fruit cups. One for breakfast and maybe one for later.
I seem to have a lot of energy, which is really nice. It seems now that I am always running back and forth doing something while at work, even at home. I love all this energy I have. I am sure losing about 30 pounds off of my petite frame, really does wonders as well.
FOOD INTAKE:
BREAKFAST : A cup of blueberries and sliced cantaloupe
DRINK: Water
SNACK: None
LUNCH: Scoop of Mushroom Lentil and barley stew and a cup of steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower and carrots) with 5 shrimp.
DRINK: Water
SNACK: a couple of blueberries from the other fruit cup that I bought
DINNER: About one cup of steamed mushrooms, red onion, carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. Seasoned with Garlic and Herbs
EXERICISE: Unknown
WATER INTAKE: 12 ounces of water
WEIGHT: Unknown
