WRITING MY WAY OUT OF DEPRESSION
THIS MORNING





These are my thoughts.

Just up from the basement.
Went down to do put some laundry in.
Someone had clothes in the dryer.
Not sure if they had other loads in mind.
I hope I was not jumping in front of them.
No clear rules about this, or maybe I
just do not know them.

No Grounds for living together.


The Basement, an expression of our
foundation, is filling up again
with clutter.

There are eight of us here.

THIS IS THE GREAT EXPERIMENT

This is the great experiment.
It is an expression locally of what is happening
internationally. It is an expression of what is happening
nationally. It is an expression of what is happening
statewise, local-wise.

It is an expression of what is happening in our backyard.

Most of us do not have a backyard.

FOOD

Went to a Kawanzaa gathering last night.
One of the most intelligent black families I know,
tremendous spirit.

There was tremendous exhaustion in the room
and a feeling of having gone through pain and duress.
I go every year. Fewer attended than in other years.
It was a very intimate and beautiful gathering.
We each said what we needed to say.

The Primary Mom elder was dealing with a flood
in her bedroom. Her focus has been on draught
and unsanitary water in Africa, far away from home.

Kawaazaa celebrates the harvest.
This is beautiful. Kawaazaa is also about turning
away from the Greed of Christmas. It is about
what is inside the package, not the wrappings
that end up being trash for the most part.

After a powerful truth telling sacred circle,
we moved to the Karamu, the feast.
I brought some locally grown organic squash
from the Rodriguez Family. This was appreciated.

The chile in the pot was announced a beef corizo.
"Where was it from?" The 99 cent corner store
was the response.

We do not get real food or Safe Real Food from the
corner 99 store. There is no such intelligence about food
at the corner store. Real meat from Curtis Womach,
who grows chickens that can still reproduce, costs
around $4.00 a pound. The 99 cent store is skipping steps.
It has no Soul in its food. It has no chance of holding
the body and soul together.

The FDA has no understanding of Soul, and it has
no understanding of real food safety. 99 cent food
is not safe for human consumption.

FOOD?

The highly intelligent, most lovely, and dearly loved
family I visit each Kawaazaa still has not connected
their lives to real food.
No blame. Nothing mean intended, only a desire to uplift.


THE ROCK YOUR SOUL OPERA





A Shift has happened.
It has happened here at home.
It is the Rock Your Soul Opera.
We are all being called back to the beat of nature.
The cry from Mother Earth is Beet Keepers, Return!
A simple beet shall lead them.
Grow a beet in a pot. Get it from your local Farmer
at the Farmers' Market, if you are near one of this
Real Food Safe environments.

Cooperative Economics: Make sure you are spending
your money to uplift consciouseness. With each dollar
you spend in the marketplace, you can uplift humanity.

Make sure you are eating food, not something
intended to market the principle of greed.

THE SHIFT HAS HAPPENED

It has happened here where I live.
I would continue to live here.
I have not been home for many years.

The mess in my space shows this.

I have been with a finger in the dike,
attempting to hold back the flood.

There is no holding back the flood now.
There is no holding back the rain.
There s no holding back the draught.
It is all an expression of our lack of ground.

We do not know how to live here.

We have no ground for living together.

WE HAVE NO GROUND FOR LIVING TOGETHER

We have no ground for living together here...
not the eight of us.
I am so sorry.

This is unmanageable.
This is near unrentable.
We did our best.
We have given what we could.

Eight people living together
in such close proximity,
have only brought to the surface
what is buried inside all of us who
hide our stuff inside walls.

The walls are tumbling down.
The insanity is showing up.

This is not just about what is happening here.
This is about what is happening everywhere
in my potential sphere of influence.

SO SORRY TO BREAK THE NEWS

So sorry to break the news.
What is happening here is happening in lots of places.

Voices asking to be heard--
Voices are asking to be heard here.
We have no ground of being to speak to each other.

Relationship next door:
We deminish each other.
Each time we speak, both of us for the most part feel
hurt. We hear in each other's words daggers.
This is what happens when people coming together
to live together, but have brought baggage
with them that needs to come up.

This is the Rock Your Soul Opera: Our baggage
must come up down to be seen, processed,
released.

Our communication style is the stuff that breeds
wars. It is the stuff that breeds killing in the world.
I am sure she would not agree.

THANKS TO FES ILLUMINE FLOURISH LINE

Thanks to Illumine Flourish flower Essence.
I sprayed myself first thing.
at least it got me out of bed this morning,
and moving my fingers.

This list of issues would take 15 or 20 minutes
to spell out.

Included are a man in an external structure
holding up, who is not talking, a person living
alone in pain on the land impacting all of us.
To ask him simple questions that need to be asked
is seen as an intrusion, a provocing.

He moved out of the house. He left the room
filthy. There was no official 30 day notice.
There is no playing by the rules.

This is crazymaking.

I need to do something concrete now.

I need to hang the laundry.

I need to put all this aside,
the mess, the tiredness,
and prepare to go the the Farmers' Market.

I cannot allow this to interfere with my
ability to earn a livelihood.

I cannot continue to live this way.
Neither can you.

It is the Rock Your Soul Opera,
and we are being asked to come home to the earth
one way or another.

I am feeling enough focus to keep going.

During bouts of depression during the summer,
spoke with Patricia Kaminski of the Flower Essence Services.
She told me about the relationship between the pine tree
and the illumine formula. I went out to my garden
at took pictures of this formula. I laid on the ground
and looked up into the pine needles. I felt better.
I was feeling depression this morning of January 2
and took the remedy again. My orientation to the morning
has shifted. I want to get to the Farmers' Market and put
other things on hold for now. I only have so many hours
to interact with the farmers. I was sulking at last week's
Farmers' Market. A number of the farmers felt it. One commented.
I want to feel differently today, inspite of overwhelming
problems at the house.

We are in a national food emergency.
The passage of the Food Safety Modernization Act
on January 3 or so did not improve the situation.
it simple was a behind the scene declaration of the
direction, our federal government is taking regarding
food. Throwing the little guys a bone is not the same
as support for the milllions of small growers who need
to be encouraged, rather than discouraged.

This bill was an attempt to make food safe for the Big Guys
while burdening the little guys with more paperwork.

It signs into law very little to solve the food crisis.
We are in a state of ignorance regarding our food.
We do not know how to use food to improve our health.
