I WON SECOND PLACE
INTHE STRING BURINING CONTEST

I won second place in the string burning contest.
I do not remember if I felt bad about not winning
first place. I was about ten years old at the time.

Yesterday I turned 63.

The string was about 18 inches off the ground.
Below it we all had individual places to build a fire.
We did not have matches, as I recall.
I may be wrong.

One day, the way we are going,
we may not have matches.
We better know how to make fire.

It is a lovely birthday rain we are having today
in San Diego.

I just spend about 90 minutes doing healing work
in the backyard. The backyard is where Peace on Earth
really begins.

I gathered about two buckets so far of rain water.
I will likely mark the first bucket with the date:
Rainwater Collection, November 20, 2010.
in the morning. My birthday rain.

Lots of great ideas.
The Divine Mind of the Gold Man never stops.

I was thinking that I better call Michael R. Taylor,
and invite him over to lunch.
Maybe we could go to the Hillcrest Farmers' Market together.

I really want to understand what he was thinking
the last twenty year so so. I am willing to explain
my behavior. I want to understand his.

What was all that about leaving Monsanto after writing
a report about Hormones in Milk, then getting a job
with the FDA, and approving the report he did?

Is that ethical in his way of thinking?

I have done some very unethical things in my life too.

I once wanted to be the Battalion Chief of the Jr Fire Department.
The Battalion Chief got a golden badge.
The rest got a badge that was silver color.
We had an old refrigerator in the garage.
I believe I turned it in two years in a row
so I could get extra points.

I cheated. Forgive me.
I really wanted that Gold Badge.
I was willing to break the rules of the
contest to get it.

Gosh.

Anyway, I was just thinking that Michael and I
ought to get together.

I want to understand exactly what he was thinking
when he or his friends raided those folks in Venice.
What does he think of the police officers coming in with
guns out of holsters to bust people who were preparing
pre-paid shipments of raw cheese for the members?

Is there really a law against that?
Does Michael R. Taylor, my food Czar,
with the ear of my President really think that
was good behavior?

With #S510, the Food Safety Modernization Act
up for discussion in the Senate when the men and women
come back from Thanksgiving break,
I have to say upfront that I am not in favor of giving
Michael and the FDA more regulatory powers
until we have a good lunch, or at least a talk,
and discuss what he imagines he has been up to
with the FDA enforcement practices.

I am sure that we if talk, and my concerns
are met, the nation can come one step closer
to preventing further harm to innocent children
and adults who have died from our contaminated
large scale industrial Ag Food system breaking down.

There are other concerns we can talk about.
Having a little Dialogue on Science, Ethics, and Food
RE: The Raw Milk and Raw Cheesemakers is a good start.

I, and many Americans right now,
are very concerned about the future
of food as medicine.

#S510 is being considered now in the Senate.

100 Senators are determining the fate of our food as medicine,
food to do what it can,
what it is intended to do to give us the
nutrient dense capacity to root our dreams.

From an organic beet’s point of view,
there is something Divine in food,
Our Senators, many of them, are about to potentially
give a knock out blow, to take “American The Beautiful”
a few steps backward rather than forward.
