On the Way down the Mountain
from the Auspicious Pacific Symposium
Enchanted Garden Installation,
I stopped at the Bluefoot Bar
in North Park.

I allowed my sacred cloth borrowed
from the Symposium to be used
to decorate tables to honor local farming
that was taking a stand in this setting.

I am not sure that the intent of the
event--which was to raise public awareness
of the pressing need of the Bluefoot bar was
met as I review the evening.

I would like to hear more debrief about this.

Shakti Sara Popovich came over
the morning of the last day of the
Pacific Symposium Post Conference--
truly the most enchanted day of all--
to pick up my clothes and sarongs
as well as one of the wheatgrass pots
that held the Sacred Space at the
Catamaran, the site of the Root Your Dream
Altar.

More Info North Park's Bluefoot Bar needs us to rally our support and raise our voices.

As many of you know, over the course of the past four and a half years the Bluefoot Bar has been a foundational pillar for the local San Diego arts community. The bar’s unique layout provided fertile launching ground for San Diego’s favorite dance, music and performing arts showcase, 4x4. As a result, the Bluefoot Bar has become a staple of North Park’s cultural vibrancy - just as equally as the monthly Ray Street at Night event is.

Due to the complaints of a few, unfriendly neighbors, the Bluefoot Bar has been unfairly penalized - it is the only bar, of the other fourteen within the immediate 92104 zip code, that is not afforded the full rights and regulations found under its Tavern license #48. Yet, the bar, owned and operated by Adam Cook and Cuong Nguyen since October 2006, has never had one violation. Today, I am asking that the Bluefoot Bar be given back its lawful right to be open until 2am seven nights a week and that its patios remain open until midnight on weekend nights (among other things), and I am also asking that you join me in doing so.

200 small farming families in Asia through making this
