Malaki Obado, the cofounder of Grow Strong,
has committed to help with the set up of the
Enchanted Garden Installation at the Pacific Symposium.

The Set up time, to be confirmed October 25, 2010
is for 1 pm to meet at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
Growing Grounds, pick up plants at Bill Tall's City Farmers' Nursery,
go down to the Catamaran Hotel in Pacific Beach,
and then spend two or three hours doing setting up the altar.

To have the presence and hands of
Malaki with us, is powerful.

He is the beet keeper who raised more than
30 hives at La Milpa Organic Farm, the premiere
community based farm that held its Final Harvest Event
September 18, 2010.

The shut down of La Milpa Organic Farm officially
on September 18 coincided with the Day of Atonement,
a time when millions of Jewish people fasted around the world.

NO SHORTAGE OF BEES
AT LA MILPA ORGANIC FARM

Bees around the world are in a radical die off.
This is a serious global condition.
Without bees to pollinate our crops, we are one step
closer to aniliation as a human species.

We are dependent on bees to pollenate flowers.

THE SENATE IS ABOUT TO VOTE ON FOOD SAFETY

The Senate imagines they will vote on Food Safety
following the elections.

In a petition I started on Change.org Saturday
October 23, I asked them to go slow, to take time
to chew on Food Safety.

The point of view of thousands, maybe millions,
is that we need to begin a National Conversation on Food Safety.

BEFORE VOTING I WOULD LIKE

100,000 in research to determine why
there was no shortage of bees
at La Milpa Organica Farm.

La Milpa Organic Farm should be put
on the National Register of Historic Places
for its social experiment that it did
between 2004-2010.

Barry Logan was fined $4,000.00 for breaking the laws
of the land. He has decided that he cannot continue to microfarm
in the current climate of regulation. Regulations are due to
increase with the passage of S.510 or s. 3767 or some
version of the bills.
