A favorite photo above of mine.

These are fresh picked local organic berries
from J.R. Organic that are available at the
Hillcrest Farmers' Market each week.

I submitted one photo for the Roots Photo Fund raiser
contest. It was pf Barry Logan in a classic shot
with holding a beet.

If they want to look at others for a calendar
I would make a gallery for them.

I am organizing my photos a bit, and will likely
be putting numbers of my Farmers' Market and Food Photos
together.

One of the joys of the last six years, before this
one, was having one of my photos used each year
as a gift item for the OTA, The Organic Trade Association.

The Iphoto Library Organizer
is allowing me to move between varioiu
Iphoto Librraries. I like to app very much.

Our inaugural project is a photography contest (SUBMIT). The goal of this contest is to create a visual foodscape of San Diego County. We want you to show us how you relate to food: the who, what, when, where, how and why of agri-CULTURE in San Diego.

The contest is open to all ages and submissions are due by September 23rd (Fall equinox). The photography contest will culminate in an exhibit displayed at The Art of Agriculture Harvest Festival on October 2 at the Roots Farm @ Suzies and in a calendar published for 2011. Start shooting!

NOTE TO ROOTS

Mel,

Leslie Here. I turned in one photo last night to make your deadline and contributed $10.00. I turned in a classic shot of Barry with a beet. I have some tremendous photos of the Farmers Market, La Milpa, and strawberries, local grown, fresh, picked, fresh, organic that you are welcome to use in the calendar.

Let me know if you want me to put up a gallery for you to see choices that you might want for a calendar.

best wishes on the farm.
I am making plans to be there on October 1.

Leslie
