HOW TO TURN THE BEAT AROUND






Zael Zaidman, cousin of Zack Zeidman,
the partner of Steven Brooks,
the Son of Norman Brooks,
adopted Father of Leslie,
your Enchanted Gardener,
co-taught container gardening
at the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice
Conference at SDSU.
Keep The Beet Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant,
who holds residency
at the nearby Enchanted Garden Intentional Community
Growing Grounds Trust, within walking distance of SDSU<
was a hit in the
workshop that inspired many to Turn the beat of
their life around through growing a beet in a pot.


















OUR STORY

IN the Fall of 2009,
it became clear,
We simple had to turn the beat around.
Humanity was perched as a rock falling.
The chain of being was broken on land and sea.

A simple vegetable,
a root vegetable in fact,
a beet, began to speak up.


SHe became know as
Keep The Beet Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plnat.

The beet's noted climb to infamy
became world wide. She gained
celebrity. Her coumn in the popular
Space of Love Magazine sold many
subscriptions for the Russian based
publication.

Wherever she went, Keep the Beet Media Star
The World's First Talking Beet turned the
beat around, as prophets before her.

Her very own Beatitudes, messages of hope
that she had gathered from stalking
the archives where she lives at
the Enchanted Garden,
drew attention when some of them--
poems by her favorite writer
Leslie Goldman, began showing up
in formerly discarded sea shores
around the globe.

They showed up in plastic bottles,
discards of human thought.

The very idea at the time stunned
those who found the bottles.

Oh My God, some said,
what a message of hope from the sea,
the sea that has been kicking us in the butt
because BP peed in our pond, some said.

Some reflected that the great Crack
in the well began one day before Earth Day.
What was that all about some wondered?
Others never thought at all.


HOW DID These bottles of hope,
BPA enfused, and toxic laden,
enough to kill a fish, get back to the seashore?

How they got there, no one knew.
Some said they were carried by the wings
of Angels. Others said, no birds brought them,
as doves once showed Noah
that ground was near.

THE AMAZING AND MYTICAL ADVENTURES
OF KEEP THE BEET

One of her most amazing adventures
was when she sailed out in a boat...
to the Great Pacific Garbage Patch Gyre,
twice the size of Texas, a mount of
former trash.

She was said to say:
"Holy Schmattah!" she could not believe
her eyes, when she first saw the trash
that was out at the gyre. It made her
mind swirl.


Here the beat weeped and cried for humanity.
She crawled on the heap,
She put down her roots. She decided
in that very moment to dedicate
her life to The Great Earth cleanup
and said acclaimed that Borsht would no longer
be the most noted beet food.

she would create a whole new generation
of beet green eaters. She knew that through this
simple act, growing a beet in a pot
humanity, one human at a time would return
to being human bengs rather than humans racing?

She often said, "What are you,
Human beings or human's racing.
She often repeated herself it was said.

BACKGROUND...

Many people have heard the story
of Christoper Columbus.

Some people like him.
Others do not.

There are many stories about
people like Christopher Columbus,
and other Spanish explorers.

One story says that when the Mayans
and other Native Americans say he coming,
they could not believe their eyes.

They believed the world was flat.

He simple sailed to shore.

The people were mystified.

They welcomed him and his men as a God.
They offered him and the boys their loveliest
daughters.

They was a good way to get STD's from Europe.

Part of the reason for the downfall of the New World
was how it was destroyed by the Old World.

There are similarities here between
this story and the most recent adventure
of Keep The Beet Media Star,
The World's First Talking Beet Plant.

We have some friends on the old world continent
who do not like her popular Hollywood like Media Image
as conceived by Artlist Liora Leah of Curezone.

In Russia, The Publisher of Space Of Love Magazine
will not publish the Hollywood Image of Keep The Beet.

We are going to have a contest on the Space of Love
Revolution site before long.

We want to know how many people like or do not like
how Keep The Beet appears in this image.

This is very important to know.

Keep The Beet is becoming the Rage in Hollywood.

There is going to be a cartoon made about her
before long. She is also the host of the
the new Online Courses that Your Enchanted Gardener
is asking me, Leslie, to get out.

BACK TO THE GREAT PACIFIC GARBAGE PATCH

This is what happened.

Keep The Beet had been hearing rumors about
this patch of garbage for years. She heard about
it years ago before it was a big problem.

That is because KT Beet M.S., the scholar that she is,
is one with the beat of life.

The fishes were complaining but no one was listening!

They were getting sick.

That was why she started her GREAT EARTH CLEAN UP
campaign years ago.

Keep The Beet had her friends JOEY MENDELSOHN and Marc
Wohlman make her a raft made up of old designs of
EcoUsable Stainless Steel bottles.






THE LUMINARIES HOLD AN ECOUSABLE STAINLESS STEEL BOTTLE
at the recent Venice Eco Fest. Joey Mendelsohn and Mark Wollman
of EcoUsable were dancing up a storm at the event, literally,
it rained on July 10!!!!!

Co-stars of Keep The Beet's lastest Beet Keeper, Return!
film called RAINMAKERS at the VENICE ECO FEST.

THE LUMINARIES got a benefit concert here at the
ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY
where we are fundraising to buy the land here
and put it into a Trust for perpetuity.

At our concert here in the backyard,
all the plants were so happy to have visitors.
It can get lonely here. Everybody is running around
here cleaning up clutter, but we do not have that much
real beat growing going on right now.

During the concert here with THE LUMINARIES
in our San Diego backyard, guess what happened.

Anthony Russo, the world's sustainability leader
in the field of Sustainable Packaging and serviceware
made from 100% Bagasse, did not want to be left out
of all the fun.

He showed up with his daughter Christina, who is
a wonderful friend of the EG Mobile, our 68 VW VAN.
Of course, you know THE EG MOBILE, don't you?

BACK TO THE STORY

Anthony brought down all kinds of models
of the Sugar Cane Bagasse Take Out Containers.

There are tons of designs, everything that
your local vendor who wants to go green easy would need!

Keep The Beet was so happy with what happened next.

Guess What?

Every body at the benefit, made Keep The Beet
a little hut made of the Bagasse.

IT was the cutest of sea going rafts afloat on the ocean.


SO HOW DID THE RAFT GET OUT TO THE PACIFIC
GARBAGE PATCH GYRE???

well this is how!!!

The Students of Ms EVA BECKER's Science classes
at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles, site of the
first visit of Your Enchanted Gardener and Uncle Leslie
to a high school garden anywhere, got all excited
about Keep The Beet wanting to go visit the Pacific Gyre!!!

They studied the wave currents.

Then, Keep The Beet got in touch with her
friends the SURFRIDERS. Have you not heard of the
Surfriders????

Keep The Beet MS loves the Surfriders!!!

She was hanging with some of the local's down at O.B. People's
FOod Store a couple months ago.

She was also hanging with some of the Venice Surfriders
at the Recent Venice Ego Fest 2010.







KEEP THE BEET: Leslie, it is about time for you to go back to bed.
You have to be at the Hillcrest FM this morning. I want you to
get there early. Chef Jem wants more variety of foods to eat.
Do not forget to get him some Bee Pollen from Robert,
the friend of The Clicker.

Oh, bring that photo to the FM, Leslie, to have on the counter.

David said, you can sell some of your framed photos.

So, then how did keep the Beet get towed out to the Gyre?

There was a big hunt.

Who would help?

Would DAVID ROTHCHILD of the Plastiki help?

How about old friend ANTHONY ZOLEZZI
who asked Leslie to get Monsanto Company to donate
1 million dollars to The ORganic Center.

Would it be the Captain who brought all the attention
to the Great Pacific Gyre Gargage patch????


Well we better, get Leslie to bed now.

We will finish the next chapter of this story
