There is a story told about the Essenes
who I know as earth loving people
that wrote original copies,
unabridged versions,
of what we know as the Bible.
When the Roman's were coming,
rather than leave their work,
they stayed behind to dot the "i''s and "T"s.
They believed in eternal life
thought some of them achieved mastership
to where they died daily.
Dying, may be a key to surviving,
as well as thriving through these times.
Knowing how seeds grow,
and what seeds have to do with planting dreams,
is also a good idea for now.

HaSeeds: Dancing im the Face of Collapse
Just got off the phone with William Spear,
a great friend of Elizabeth Kubla Ross
who identified the stages of dying in her
classic work.
William is much better at dying than I am.
I once atended his workshop called
THE PASSAGE, I am not sure I am allowed
to say what we did, but I definitely expressed a lot
of emotions.
So here we are.
This was the first morning that I felt a bit inside myself.
I have two full time jobs.
One, managing this household is becomes a full time job
when we need new housemates.
I have been outside myself for months,
coming to terms with the extraordinary times in our house
that mimics some of the Shift in the world.
I am not the best at Shifting locations,
but I have a talent for moving very fast
through the universe when I feel safe.
I would have to say I am a pretty good visionary.
I see the grand design, but to ground what I see
takes a lot of cooperative living.
Gardening is a good start.
I am looking forward to putting in more time
on the writings I started this morning.
This was the first day in three months
I felt a bit inside myself.
We got a really good housemate
confirmed yesterday.
More later.
Got to run...
Hope you are falling apart nicely.

Dear Leslie,
You have always been one of those folks
out there on the fragile growing edge of things,
sniffing way ahead of most of us.
And you have had the courage to be quirky
and insistent, and to proceed even when you weren't understood.
I choose to believe that what you have already planted in this world
---in the earth, or in people's hearts--
will quietly take root, and perhaps go unnoticed for long enough
to really dig in without provoking opposition,
and therefore acquire depth and strength to burgeon forth.
Thank you for your generosity,
for all you do, and for persevering even when it's been lonely.
You have been seen and appreciated;
please forgive me for not letting you know sooner.
Warmly,
Eve
SUVIVAL LAW
There are times in your life when
you are going to feel broken.
During the up times, when good
things happen, take time
to ask for feedback in writing.
Other times, things may just show up,
like this first paragraph a story I
found that had been written years before.
I was feeling really down when
an old friend, at my 35th High School Reunion,
asked if I had seen it.
ONE OF MY FAVORITE TESTIMONIALS
"I’ve been waiting half my life to tell somebody about Leslie Goldman.
Always figured I’d wait for some desperate moment.
Now it’s here."-- Bob Baker, Los Angeles times Magazine
