People in parts of the Americas, the Pacific and Asia might notice something unusual in the skies as a partial lunar eclipse begins at 10:17 Universal Time, or UTC, June 26 - the first lunar eclipse of 2010.

When the moon appears to disappear during a lunar eclipse, it is simply the act of casting a shadow on a truly grand scale.

Mitzi Adams, an astrophysicist at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama, explains the out-of-this-world phenomena in earthly terms.

ASTROLOGICAL

The Cancer-Capricorn Full Moon Lunar Eclipse of June 26, 2010
by Robert Wilkinson

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse occurs at 5 degrees Cancer-Capricorn, promising several months of karmic adjustments,
curbed recklessness,
and decisions that will reorient us so we can mobilize
ourselves and assert what we need to claim our personal authority.

A lot will crash or change course
with new structures showing up in August.

This Partial Lunar Eclipse falls at 5 degrees of Cancer-Capricorn on June 26th at 4:30 am PDT, 7:30 am EDT, 12:30 pm Greenwich. This Lunar Eclipse is a prelude to the much more powerful Total Solar Eclipse on July 11-12 at 20 Cancer which will affect the whole Earth.

Both eclipses are shutting some old ways of life down forever (as all eclipses do), leaving us space to embrace new mutations that are coming on strong.

using Vedic, Chinese, Western, or any other approach to defining "All-That-Is" within a precise system of space-time factors. Though a circumstance may seem to have "bad" omens for the future, we can always transcend any negativity and turn the future to beneficent possibilities. No matter where an Eclipse falls, we can turn it to good.
Here it is important to remember Astrology is NOT a "predictive" art, in the usual way this is understood. The craft is less deterministic than most believe, including we professional Astrologers who seem to be able to "hit the mark" regarding future manifestations.
Pattern is everything, and time is a continuity. By knowing the past and present, we can often extrapolate the future. But we can never know how a being will respond to any given life challenge, whether pleasant or painful. Each has their ability to respond as they choose in the moment.
