Border Issues by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Border Issues: Commentary on Huffington Post Story. I am not going across the border today because I do not have a welcome note from my government to get back without a Passport. I do not have a Passport. Time to get organized. By this time next year, I want a Passport and whatever it takes to feel comfortable going back and forth to the land that is now fenced off.

HUFFINGTON POST COMMENTARY

"The government is not equipped to handle the tricky, deepwater effort BP is leading to fix its gushing well."

Today is World Environment Day, June 5, 2010.
The U.S. celebrates Earth Day. Most of the world celebrates
World Environment Day.

I find myself writing about Border Issues this morning
on the Plant Your Dream Blog.

If it were not for our Border issues, we would immediately
get off what ever issues are between us and pulling in
the finest minds and technology to solve this problem.

There are other countries--some of them arabs, some of them run by Jewish people--I mean Israel, who likely have technology
and means to deal with a cleanup.

It is time to take this away from BP, let go of our border issues,
and bring in the nations of the U.N. and world to help us solve
this crisis that is more than a U.S. issues.

We blew it by allowing foreign ideas and shortsighted ideas
to blow our relationship with all the other species in the Gulf.
We ignored that Nature' Original Technology (NOT) is the
Technology for livng on this Earth. We need to say "NOT,"
to other kinds of tech that have created a catastrophe as
big as Chernobyl. We need not have to think in terms of
World War 3 any more. We have created a World War 3
in the Gulf, a situation of much that is potential not only
going to drift up the East Coast but eventually reach across
the Pond.

Do you get it? The ocean was already acidifying.
We were already creating dead zones before this.

This is the time to call in the brain and other international
companies to sit down at the table and work together.
I like what Chris Matthews is saying. Pull in the big tankers.
Find a way. This is no longer PB's problem. This is no
longer PB's Oil.

They Blew it. Now is the time for all the people on this
World Environment Day to get aligned and work together.

Border issues? We now need millions of people of every
color and every nation on our shores helping to literally clean up this mess.

It's a day for a new ball game called Earth Ball.
We are all in this together if we would like our beloved
planet to alllow our species to keep living here.

This is World Environment Day

How do I want to use this day?

Next year I will go to
Tecate for World Environment Day
activities at the Professor's Park.
I cannot go this year because I do not
have a welcome note from the U.S.
Government to get back in my own country
without a Passport.

The last time I attempted this transit,
post 911, it cost me $500.00.
The road back through Tecate is over
a heavy hill upgrade. It was stop and go.
I was riding the clutch. It cost me a new
clutch.

The money for the new clutch came
from Whole Foods Market. They sponsored
that trip.

So did Noel from Stehly Farms Organics.
They gave me five boxes of their delicious
oranges to take. I gave them away.

At the time, I was not aware of hungry issues
in the world. I am more now aware of hunger
issues. There are a lot of hungry people.

BINGO!

This whole idea that we can feed people
other than with organic food is bogus.
Sorry. It is a PR stunt.

There needs to be a whole different way
of give and receive with the land.

Please. Get it.
Have a Moment of Awakening.

We have basicallly killed off our Chain of Being
and its Food Chain. We, as humans, on this
World Environment Day 2010, need to hear this.

From a point of view of other species, the behavior
of our species is inexcusable.
