Applying "I Can Do It!" to the Gulf by YourEnchantedGardener .....

What To Do About the Gulf now. The Gulf is bleeding. The bleeding can be seen in a higher light. Today is a holy day, a day that calls for a Moment for Awakening. Now is the time. This is the moment to turn away from the direction we are headed. Now is the time to let go of living our individual lives as natural disasters and earthquakes waiting to happen. Prayer. Coming together. Prayer. Coming together in community. Learning to speak the same language even those we speak different tongues. This is the time for this.

Wayne Dyer, Keynote speaker, brought up
real world issues that need to be resolved when he
spoke at the I Can Do It! 2010 San Diego Conference
May 14, 2010. In this Plant Your Dream Blog
I ask for I Can Do It! energy to be applied
to the condition in the Gulf now.

Today is a very holy day in the tradition
of the Jewish and Christian faith. It is the holiday
called Shavuot, when the 12 Tribes gathered at Sinai
to receive the Ten Commandments.

There are miracles associated with this moment.
Some legends says that the people could not speak the same
language--they were subject to the Towel of Babel--
yet in spite of this, each heard in their own way
the messages that were spoken.

There is cloud cover associated with Shavuot,
and often rain as millions of people around the world
gather in one way or another to celebrate the First Fruits.

I am just now integrating tremendous personal growth
after three days at the I Can Do It 2010 San Diego Conference
May 14-15-16.

The gathering was a meeting of a number of thousands
who were inspired by teachers that draw
together many people who even in spite of how difficult
problems look in the world now, can say, I Can Do It!

Saying I Can Do It! is not the same as saying
that we do not believe that God is in charge.
It is saying that we accept our personal role
to be positive and use intention to create the course of
our own destiny to the extent that we can make
a better day and a better life.

MY I CAN DO IT!
EXPERIENCE MAY 16

Sunday night, following a remarkable session by Cheryl Richardson,
a keynote speaker, I went out back to the outdoor ampitheater
on the bayside of the San Diego Convention Center. The year
the Convention Center opened, I did some closing ceremony work
at this location that had mystical overtones.
The work I did that day was highly intentional.
On that day years ago, rain was forecast, but I wanted
to have a ceremony on that spot. Rather than spending
time inside at the expo being held, I spent my day holding
the space. It did not rain. Then, around 5, after equipment
was set up for the closing ceremony, I left the space to go
in, gather the people, and return to the spot.

As I left the space, it began to rain hard.
By the time, I walked to the front side of the building,
the rain stopped and I witnessed an incredible rainbow
through the glass. I had a drummer with me
and a loud voice. By the time we all returned to the
spot outside at the Ampitheater, there was no more rain.
In my design for the ceremony I had placed little herbs
around the circle. In the middle, covering what was a drain,
I had placed an aloe vera.

The Aloe Vera served as a rain cork.
There was a delightful pond that nature had provided!
During the next 45 minutes, at key moments
of poems, there would be choirs of bird sounds
and rays of sunshine all in sync with the words.
There were more than 40 people in attendance.
Others spoke and offered creative gifts.

Sunday night, my spirit asked me to
return to that moment in time and that
space.

There were many magical elements, including this
Goddess pond that formed when an Aloe Vera covered
the drain spout following an outburst of rain

I gathered through intention the remarkable energy of the
I Can Do It Conference, and went out to the site of the ampitheather.
I had made an invitation earlier in the day to invite others.
I arrived at I Can Do It! 2010 around 2:00 pm and carefully
allowed inspiration and inner listening to direct me.
I handed out numbers of invites to the Ampitheater
site and indicated we would meet at 7:30 pm,
an hour after Cheryl Richardson finished.
Numbers of participants said they
would join me at 7:30 pm.
They directed intentions to be
there.

The site is difficult to find.
Next year, I will plan ahead of time.
I was really not looking for many people to show up.
I arrived myself at 7:45 pm.

There were two Angels on site when I arrived, two delightful
young 24 year olds from nearby Tijuana. There were both
writing out dreams in journals I learned later.
I came to plant dreams.

The two Angels from Mexico helped me with my every request.
They helped me unload two baskets of food from my cart that
was decorated with flowers. At the bottom was some holy soil
in a very concious basket that was prepared by one of my housemates
here at the Enchatned Garden Intentional Community.

One of the young women carried the basket down the stairs for me
and placed in in the center of the outdoor ampitheatre nearby
a covered drain that had collected water last time
I did ceremony work here.

We did prayers together.
A married couple from the Philipines also participated.
Prayers were spoken in various languages.
We all rooted dreams.
I did almost exactly what I had heard in my head that morning
when I felt instructed to do this ceremony work.

One of the last impressions I had at I Can Do It!
was how fast all the speakers were going.
Almost everyone of them spoke, signed,
and then led off to catch
a plane or make some very important meeting
to make ends come together in their lives.
Everyone seemed to be on a time clock with not
a second too lose.

Following our ceremony, The two beautiful woman
and I enjoyed a leisurely meal of the bounty of fruits and vegetables
that numbers of local organic farmers at the Hillcrest Farmers
Market had given me a few hours before. We sat together
no less than an hour. It was a delightful meeting. I felt very honored
to have gained their trust. They were both very open with me
and shared much about their dreams and lives living in
downtown Mexico.
They had been friends for ten years,
and both had powerful dreams.

Martha Crishna Jimenez (l) and Lilia Citlalliti Hoz Lyncet,
were on site at the Amphitheater to help me complete
the Ceremony work I had in mind.

ABOUT THE RAIN
AND FLOW OF WATER

I have experienced many times that when I root dreams with
seeds, rain can come. As I neared home, drizzles
of water fell on my windshield. The rain made me happy.

Last night, at our Shavuot gathering,
I had the basket of seeds we had planted
Sunday night in my van. Last night,
we all celebrated the meeting at Sinai
thousands of years ago. Again, I took leisurely time with Ellen
and Rabbi Wayne Dosick at their home.
As we left the house in La Costa, there was
rain all over the pavement. The air was fresh. On the way home,
there was a tremendous outpouring of rain, but done had fallen
at my home less than twenty miles away.

APPLYING I CAN DO IT ENERGY
TO REAL WORLD PROBLEMS

So what does this all have to do with the I Can Do It!
Conference and the Gulf?

Props to Wayne Dyer, the keynote speaker for guiding
more than 2000 of us in a powerful keynote Friday night
May 14.

His talk was spiritual, and yet he brought up a number of real world
problems. He spoke about the obesity epidemic as well
as GMO proliferation. He spoke about his own health challenges
and his own conviction that through applying I Can Do It! energy
to his condition he We, in the audience, concurred and cheered
for him.

Wayne Dyer brought up real world problems.
We can apply I Can Do It! to them now.

So here is what I am asking now.

There are many people reading this who
have I Can Do It! energy. You know the power of intention.

Now is the time to apply our intention toward the
oil leaking in the gulf.

Many thousands of people are on alert on the coast.
Oil has touched land in some places, but not in others.
We are dealing with currents of thought as well as ocean
currents.

We are clearly having a wake up call as a nation
and a world now if we make the most of the condition
in the gulf to recognize that now is the time, as a nation
and a world, to move most fervently in the direction of
potentially harmless forms of alternative energies.

Some are saying there is enough movement alone
in the Gulf Stream if managed through human ingenuity
to create enough electricity for the entire nation.

Now is the time to turn away from technologies that
are on their way out. Now is the time to summon human
technology that through intention can move land and beaches
out of harm's way.

We have taken human ingenuity to the limits.

We have already potentially so interfered with the natural
food chain of the ocean that it would take the most
profound human positive interference to turn aside
catastrophic outcomes that have already been set in motion
by less than the highest human impulses.

We can no longer be a greedy people.
We can no longer fail to recognize that we share
this earth with other life forms and they have as much
right to existence as we have a right to use energy
to maintain a lifestyle that propells us faster than
we need to go to achieve the highest of human purpose
and intent.

It is time to slow down.
It is time to join in a a vast Great Earth Cleanup.

It is time to begin to plant again
a different kind of earth, an Enchanted Garden earth
that welcomes in 1000 years of peace.

What To Do About the Gulf Spill now:

Today is a holy day, a day that calls
for a Moment for Awakening.

Now is the time.
This is the moment
to turn away from the direction we are headed.

Now is the time to let go of living our individual
lives as natural disasters and earthquakes waiting to happen.

Prayer.
Coming together.
Prayer.
Coming together
in community gatherings.

The oil you can't see could be as bad as the oil you can. While people anxiously wait for the slick in the Gulf of Mexico to wash up along the coast, globules of oil are already falling to the bottom of the sea, where they threaten virtually every link in the ocean food chain, from plankton to fish that are on dinner tables everywhere.
"The threat to the deep-sea habitat is already a done deal - it is happening now," said Paul Montagna, a marine scientist at the Harte Research Institute for Gulf of Mexico Studies at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Hail-size gobs of oil the consistency of tar or asphalt will roll around the bottom, while other bits will get trapped hundreds of feet below the surface and move with the current, said Robert S. Carney, a Louisiana State University oceanographer.

Oil has been gushing into the Gulf of Mexico at a rate of at least 200,000 gallons a day since an offshore drilling rig exploded last month and killed 11 people. On Wednesday, workers loaded a 100-ton, concrete-and-steel box the size of a four-story building onto a boat and hope to lower it to the bottom of the sea by week's end to capture some of the oil. Crews also set fires at the worst spots on the surface Wednesday to burn off oil. Scientists say bacteria, plankton and other tiny, bottom-feeding creatures will consume oil, and will then be eaten by small fish, crabs and shrimp. They, in turn, will be eaten by bigger fish, such as red snapper, and marine mammals like dolphins. The petroleum substances that concentrate in the sea creatures could kill them or render them unsafe for eating, scientists say. [ YAHOO NEWS ]
