Wow!

I thought I would go down an get the full treatment for the
$500.00 red light traffic violation I ran through December 19
on the way to the Winter Solsetice Rain Dance.

I am doing the course online.

I paid $25.00 and just authenticated by voice.

Now the course begins.

Is that OK? The point is, don't be distracted.


At 55 PMP, I need 400 feet to stop.
at #5 I need 200 feet.
If I can see that far ahead, I need to drive slowly.

I am glad I am taking this now to get it off my head.

When to use low beams...when weather is bad.

Fog..do't drive in it.

someone can hit me from behind...
keep moving. if thick pull off until it clears.


precautions at night.

I need twice as much light than when I was 30.

one eyed vehicle...
drive to the right when I see one light.
Maybe it has a light out.


use chains...have them. know how to put them on before I need to use them. I have never needed thme. I do not live in a snow area.

100 feet for rain...

1000 feet needed to see ahead in the dark.

Do't drive faster than 30 mph in the heavy rain....
if I can't see farther than 100 feet, don't go faster than 30 mph.

Look around...don't keep my eyes literaly on the road.
