The Come Root Your Dream Gathering,
announced for Sunday May 1 on the printed materials
of the 2010 Cultivating Food Justice Conference
but actually May 2, since Sunday was May 2,
not May 1, was a fabulous success.

In attendance were Leslie Goldman,
Your Enchanted Gardener, who arrived
home from the Hillcrest Farmers' Market
around 2:45 for the 4:00 pm event.

intending to take a nap before guests
arrived, Leslie was was notified by Chef Jem
who was putting the greens away from
JR Organics, Barry Logan's La Milpa Organica
Community Farm; and carrots and three avocado's
and two bunches of carrots from Phil Noble's
Sage Mountain Farm, that quests had arrived
soon after he came home.

Leslie relayed the message that he would
be out soon and changed out of his morning
clothes to attire more appropriate for gardening.

The first arrivals were Valerie and her sister.
Valerie had a pinched nerve in her neck
and was in intense pain. Leslie
proceeded to pick some aloe vera
to have her rub on her neck.

"Rub aloe vera on my neck?"
she repeated two or three times,
unaware this this gift from Nature's Original Technology
is an outstanding muscle relaxant.

"Rub aloe vera on my neck?" She repeated
to make sure she had her Your Enchanted Gardener's
message.

"Yes," he said.

Leslie has decided to adopt the Field of Alliance
agreements for the Enchanted Garden.
I gave him the idea.
This is going to cause an enormous stir.

I am sending Leslie back to bed.
