Seeing the best by MissW .....

And, yes I shall continue to see the best in all that I see no matter how dim the light seems to be.

It's been a rough and great 10 days. Both. Kinda like life. Up and down, more up than down. Contrast is good.

Good news first. I was approached out-of-the-blue by another company in my field and they are wooing me. Basically, this job would be everything I wrote down in my Book of Days wish-book 6 months ago. Down to the last teeniest wish. And, believe me, I went nuts with my wishes figuring that man's reach should abolutely exceed his grasp and that if you are going to wish, do it up right. Less hours, so much more money that I had to dig my fingernail into my opposite palm under the table so I didn't start giggling when they told me. A high profile position sans the bs. Ha. Anyway, I had a 2 hour (2 hour!!!!!) interview which may or may not have been overkill.

My cycle was bad. Worse than last month and this with such strictness with what I eat that I can't believe how rough I had it. No coffee and still insanely heavy. But I shan't let it bring me down even though it would be ever so easy to do so. Nothing but organic foods. Sigh. I did ease up on supplements (DIM, cod liver oil, zinc and iodine to be exact). I started back with all of the above and am adding some meditation. Apparently, there are two main kinds of fibroids (with little sub types, etc). There are the ones that grow HUGE and are painful and interfere with sex and life and comfort. Or, there are the sub-mucosal ones like mine which stay dainty (ha) and tiny and make one bleed like a stuck pig. The Doctor suggested Lupron or a myomectomy, neither or which have much success. Ha, so why suggest it? I am so determined to take care of this myself. Of course, once I hit menopause (is there an actual pause button?), things will mellow out. I believe the medical term is "watchful waiting," although I rather prefer the old term for it, "benign neglect." Bunch of asshats.

Anyway. Am happy none the less. Back in the gym (which has been remodeled and is insanely wonderful), eating well, smiling, laughing, meditating, chanting and loving life. That counts for something.
