PROBLEM

I had an extraodinary experience in the desert last week
during the Passover-Easter time. For those who believe in the
Messiah, the teamwork we shared and the love, was enough
to bring in the Second Coming of the Messiah. For the people
there, who had Jewish related practices, it was enough to bring
in the Messiah for the first time.

As Your Enchanted Gardener,
I am not too attached to whether the Messiah has been here
once, twice, or thrice, or if you are more kin to buddhist or Hindu
beliefs, I am basically into this world working for everyone.

The Group, that I will call PV here as a Code Name, is just now
allowing what they do in the desert to be shared publically.
The work they are doing is profound.

I have been going out to the desert and being a part of this group
for maybe six years if that is possible. Time does fly.

The healing work the group does is profound.
The individuals sit in a council and work at listening to each other.
the Past PV, the teamwork at the tear down was so profound,
that it touched me very deeply.

I came home and wanted to help keep the energy alive.
I woke up the very early morning and began to create a Private
Facebook Site where I could show my photos and Videos among
the members of the group.

I began to run into problems setting up this private site.
It could not figure out a way to keep the photos from being
seen on my public site.

I put in about 16 hours creating videos and photos. THe highest
part of the process was inviting six people to join what was intended
to be a private site.

There were concerns among the Leadership Council that I had
overstepped by boundaries by creating such a group.
A few days later I was asked to dismantle the site. I did so.

There is more to say here.

I am grateful I am at least beginning to express.

AN EARTHQUAKE DOES NOT SAY EXCUSE ME

An Earthquake is a fault in communication/
It is a cumulative explosion form what has not been said.
An earthquake does not say, "Excuse me,
are you ready for this?"
There is a time to be courteous and well-mannered,
to ask, "do you have ten minutes to hear this?"
There is also a time when feelings burst forth
Better we do it than the earth.

ABOUT PRIVACY SETTINGS ON FACEBOOK

THE ISSUE

I am in process of setting up a private group site
on Facebook.

There are sensitive photos that the Group wants to decide
to share.

I am working with the privacy settings on Facebook.
I created the Group Site as Private.
It is not visible on Google.
The Posts I made are not visible on my profile.

I want to protect the photos.

I set the privacy setting on three photo albums
by creating a list, just of the members of the Group.
I then customized the privacy setting to allow only the group
members to see the three photo albums.

I could see all the albums including the three that
I wanted to be private in my main photo albums on
my profile.

I had a friend, who was not yet a member of the group
go to my Photo Albums.

These were marked to be seen by the private Group members only.

Guess what?

My Friend who was not a member could see all the photo album,
including the ones marked just for view by the private member group
list I created.

I then deleting this three albums.

This is not Kosher.
There may be something I still to not understand about
creating the privacy setting.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REVOLVE THIS ISSUE?

I have other pressings things I need to attend to.

Here is a service that will answer a question for $13.00.
They have a seven day free trial, but I imagine I have to give them
all my info. I don't want to do that now. I am racing too fast
and will end up paying beyond the seven day free period.

Hush! Make sure the site is a secret.

No leaks.

Let me know when you have it done
and then tell Marc.

While this option does provide a level of privacy, it is not the most private option available. The most private option would be to take the system one step further by choosing not to show the album in your limited profile.

Limited Profile

Facebook allows users to make their profiles limited if they do not want all of their friends to be able to view all of their Facebook activity. For example, many Facebook users use Facebook not only to keep in touch with close friends, but also to network and stay in touch with business associates.
Therefore, while you may want to share birthday party photos with your friends, you may not want your business associates to view certain party images. Therefore, Facebook allows you to decide who gets to see your limited profile.
When you accept a friend invitation from a work colleague, for example, you can decide that they can only see your limited profile, which may or may not include photos from last weekend’s party.
Facebook provides wonderful privacy options that help users determine exactly what types of people can and cannot view their photos. Therefore, Facebook users tend to feel safe about their privacy – as long as they know how to use the system to their preferences.

HOW TO USE LIMITED PROFILES ON FACEBOOK

How to use limited profiles on Facebook

1. From the "Privacy: page on your Facebook personal account, follow the "Limited Profile Settings" link by clicking on that option.
2. This will then take you to a page where you can decide what profile information you wish to include in your Limited Profile. If you do not finish this step the system will be left in the default position meaning that all information will be included on your limited profile.
3. You will be given a series of boxes to check and uncheck. In doing this you will be able to get a good idea for what your limited profile will look like when you are done.
4. After finishing the process of checking boxes and tailoring your limited profile, you can then search through the Facebook system in order to compile your list of people who will be granted the limited view of your profile.
5. To search for the individuals who will have limited access to your profile, use the search tool at the bottom of the Privacy page under "Limited Profile."
6. Search for the individuals who you want to include on your limited profile list (remember that only other Facebook users can be included on your limited profile list).

7. Once the search results bring up the person that you are looking for click on the "Limit Profile Access" box that will be just to the right of their name.

Other Tips

It is always a good idea to be better safe than sorry when it comes to deciding on what information you feel comfortable sharing with others. Realize that there are loop-holes to nearly any system and that even though you may set up your security setting and go through all the proper steps to set up limited profiles, the possibility still exists for someone to gain access to any information that you may have posted to your profile. This is why you should never include any banking or personal contact information on your profile. If using Facebook for business purposes, make sure that your contact information consists of addresses and phone numbers that are generic for your company and use extreme caution when distributing your direct line to those who you have not yet developed a personal relationship with. Hackers and identity thieves are skilled at what they do and it is your responsibility to build up your defenses against them. Make sure that you look into other security and privacy settings that you should be adjusting for your Facebook account. Exploring all of the options on the "Privacy? page is a good place to start.
