I was born with a gift of laughter by MissW .....

and a sense that the world was mad.

With apologies to Raphael Sabatini and his epic, Scaramouche...

Day 6 on the Master Cleanse and a good thing indeed that I was born with the gift of laughter. Mood up, appetite down. Warm as toast all day (I am truly amazed how very little I have been cold this time around. Usually I am shivering and wearing hats in my house etc). Lots of metaphoric fires to be put out in the work arena and yet I am so amazingly laid back that there wasn't even one moment of tension. Would that I could bottle this feeling for after the cleanse so I could be this way always.

So, J decided that he is going to cleanse as well. He started today and will go ten days which means he will be cleansing a little beyond me. I am stopping on the 23rd which will be fourteen days on what would have been my Dad's 87th bday. J will be done the day after but I will still be weaning off with juices and such, so no big deal.

I thought about food today in a very detached way. Mostly because I walked into one of my accounts and could smell some spicy scented something-or-other. Eh, it was fine, really. It's just odd because after my first cleanse I never lost my enhanced sense of smell but now it's even more enhanced. Just bizarre. Thankfully, I am not hungry. I fully expected to end up face down during this cleanse in the strawberry display at Whole Foods but so far we are all safe.

Tomorrow is the dreaded day seven. From all accounts that I've read, day seven is a real witch. Am too lazy to read my old blog here but can assure you that I just am going to believe that tomorrow is going to be easy as ummmm...pie.
