Yes Virginia, there are Jewish people in the world now that
eat locally, grown organic carrots.
There are some that even shop their local farmers markets.
Here is a wonderful organization that I learned about
from Michael Bedar, former PR head and former ex assistant
with Gabriel Cousens, M.D., who last Friday night at the
World Beat Center in San Diego, let an Essene Shabbat
that featured raw grape juice instead of wine, and a challah--
consecrated bread--for blessing that was uncooked.
