I would like to pinpoint the year we felt
the Earthquake at the HILTON LAX
during the WHOLE LIFE EXPO.

I cannot pinpoint right now the year.

AMATRA BARBARA MAY and I were sharing the room.
She got up to view the water in the swimming pool
rolling like waves.

I never opened my eyes.
I kept sleeping.
There was a joke that went around that was
born right then.

Leslie doesn't wake up unless the earthquake
is above 6.0.

The earthquake that really woke me up was
the SAN FERNANDO VALLEY earthquake of February
9, 1971.
