"Great article although I need to point out one grave error. The U.S. is not a Democracy it is a Republic. We don’t say '….and to the Democracy for which it stands…' and the word Democracy is not anywhere in our founding documents but the Constitution Guarantees to each state a Republic, there is a difference and our founders spoke highly of a Republic and badly about the evils of Democracy."

This absolutely relevant point relates perfectly well to the opening line of this article; "Unless one sees what has been happening already and who is behind it, it is difficult to believe that the bills in Congress can cover EVERYTHING, that 'they' would do something so … totalitarian."

I would add that the "founders" envisioned something that is not taught in public schools called "the Republic of Republics". (There is even a book published under that title!) The "Republic for which it stands" would be the "united states of America" recognized by early American Citizens as the Union of Sovereign states in America. However "U.S." refers to a legal fiction that is not bound to the Constitutional limits intended to preserve this republic. There is a difference in loyalties between a "U.S. citizen" and a Sovereign "state Citizen". A difference that is needed now if we are to stop the "totalitarian".

With "Democracy" the "totalitarian" is inevitable. There is a great need to learn what the Republican form of government is so we can reinstate that!
