P is out of town.
He needed a get away. He deserved it.
He gave a monumental contribution
with the upstairs remodel here at the
ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY
when we had to redo that space
as well as fix the kitchen below
that started with the ceiling falling down.

All this came from an innocent note on the board
in the hallway, I think from Adriana.
There was a leak in the upstairs bathroom.

That was right before I was about to leave
for the WHOLE BEING WEEKEND.

The day I was leaving, P attempted to turn off
the water. The Valve was rusty in the upstairs bathroom
and hard to reach. The water escaped.
By the time, he turned off the water,
there was water flooding from the upstairs
bathroom, down through the kitchen below,
and into the basement!!!

The Housemates all got involved in expressing
their needs and wants without necessarily knowing
the budgets. Budgets????
That is a laugh. That is one area of community living
here that needs a better manager. I am not
going to have myself be a full time bookkeeper,
even with Quicken. I do my best, but...

I guessamate I used up more than 25% of my reserves.
On top of this money layout, I paid the full homeowners
bill for more than $1000.00 and 1/2 of the property tax,
close to $900.00. I have not looked at the balance.

Here is the good news:

The last week I have been involved in two soul satisfying
projects, experiencing Seedlings of Success that are profound.

Part of this success has been due to feeling a support team
underneath me.

Tomorrow is the Wisdom Circle meeting--
COME ROOT YOUR DREAM.
I am always surprized by who shows up.
it has been consistently been a small powerful intimate
gathering. I see where that is just what the doctor ordered.

24 hours away, I have no idea right now who will be here
tomorrow at 4 PM. There is also a major outlay of energy
being asked to launch the Hillcrest FM kickoff of the Holiday
sale of Exotica Rare Fruit Nursery Plants.

THE TWO MAJOR SEEDLINGS COMING UP

1. An invite to put in a HEALING GARDEN @ SCRIPPS.

2. Brokering a deal to help ANTHONY RUSSO, my sponsor
from BIOSMART sugar Cane Bagasse compostable dinnerware,
adopt the EXOTICA RARE FRUIT NURSERY.
The fate of thousands of plants is up in the air on three
of the five acre parcel.

The rent due is $2600.00 plus a 20% commission
for all helping to put out the metaphoric burning embers
that were heating up around that project.
I helped shepard Steven Spangler, one of the world's
greatest tree people through court. The tempers were
enflamed. Then, I stepped forward to do something
that Steven has not been able to do on that three acres--
pay the rent.

I have raised more than $2100.00 and this amount
combined with the sale of a tree that Steven went to sell
yesterday, should at least satisfy the attorney. The payment
of $2600.00 should be in hand.

Yesterday I was at the nursery when Anthony showed up
I sold him $250.00 of trees and another $194.00 to his future
brother-in-law Carl. Last night I picked up a check for $300.00
from the VICTORY GARDENS, a part of the ROOTS SUSTAINABLE
FOOD PROJECT here in San Diego. God Bless the Roots team for
stepping forward. That $300 came out of my inviting Steven
to make a presentation at the Roots Monday Action meeting
November 16, a few days before our court date.

FAST FORWARD

I need to fast forward.

Last night I delivered to CARA H CADAWALLADER
a requested photo of herself holding an umbrella.
She is on a tractor at the JR ORGANIC FARM.
The photo was taking last Saturday at the Kickoff
for FOODSTOCK, a project being orchestrated by
MATT SABLOVE, my primary "student" and collaborative
ally this year.

Guess what?

We are having a very healthy rain this morning!!!!

The Flyer I made announces the sale of tickets for
CARA's Winter Solstice Rain Dance!
Do you get it??????? Can you see it????

Raindance= Rain.
Saving the Exotica Plants= Rain.

We are ONE Beat. We are one BEET.
Do you get what I am saying??????

IT is essential that we come to see
how are relationship issues impact
rain, and interface with our intentions.

HARMONY WITH CRAIG, my NEIGHBOR

I just asked Craig, my neighbor to help
me take out the cans to the street.
P usually does that, but as I said, he is out of town.

We had a lovely conversation.

Craig and family will come to the Hillcrest FM
tomorrow!!!! Craig let me know that his former
woodworking studio in the back, may be available
for a music studio....it is still dusty...
P can help clean that up.
