to increase sales while inspiring local shopper

The EXOTICA RARE FRUIT "BLOOM" Again project
will launch a campagin to encourage local
San Diego residents to plant food not lawns,
and purchase fruit trees rather that cut pine trees.

In a collaborative breakhrough proposal,
PAUL PINCAITIUS and heirs, owners of the
famous EXOTICA RARE FRUIT NURSERY in Vista
CA, and it resident plant expert and leasee,
STEVEN SPANGLER to join in an 11th hour
agreement to fufill the family needs for
back rent as well as help sustain the
botanical preserve for generations to come.

SPANGLER, one of the world's leading
seed and rare fruit collectors, received
outstanding support on Monday at the
ROOTS SUSTAINABLE FOOD PROJECT ACTION
COMMITTEE MEETING, when individuals in the
San Diego Community stepped forward
to create an campaign to increase sales.

The community wide marketing plans
aim to repay the generous Pancritius family
for their infinitely patience with overdue rents
and lawyer fees.

The goal is to raise an extimated $50,000
and then begin a community-wide campaign
to raise an additional $350,000 toward purchase
of the three acre parcel that adjoins another
two acres of The EXOTICA RARE FRUIT NURSERY.

Leslie Goldman, present admin of the
New FRIENDS OF THE EXOTICA RARE FRUIT NURSERY,
a FACEBOOK CAUSE, suggested that
Spangler attend the monday meeting
of the ROOTS Group.

The Action Committee is one of the leading
stimulates of various project to "Root" Sustainable
farming and gardening projects in San Diego County.

to explore having Exotica Rare Fruits in among
their array of local foods offered in the produce
section.

MIKE ROCKFORD, one of the lead Team Leaders
in the produce department have Leslie,
AKA Your Enchanted Gardener, coaching on some
of the details that will open the door for sales
of Exotica Fruit sales in the store.

DON NAKAGUICI, the regional buyer for the
Southern Pacific WHOLE FOODS REGION is a lifelong
supporter of local foods. He hails from a farming
background. He and JOE RODRIGUEZ JR, JR ORGANICS,
has been part of the WHOLE FOODS HILLCREST local vendor program
during numbers of years before the draught curtailed
supplies to the local Whole Foods Market.

It was the Hillcrest WHOLE FOODS MARKET
that won national acclaim for having JR ORGANIC
Berries, fresh picked that morning, sold in the afternoon
at the Hillcrest store. ANTHONY ZOLEZZI,
Sustainabilty Expert, and entrepreneur, backed
that strawberry project in 2005.
