Water by atoasttoyourhealth .....

Again for those of you who are sick and willing to put effort into getting well, I hope this helps.

In my previous blog one of the major themes was getting you off of chemicals...hidden and undisclosed chemicals.

Let's continue with that theme. Only the chemicals this time aren't so hidden, and they are disclosed to anyone that has any knowledge of what is going on in the world.

Okay then. It's time to talk about water.

I watched a documentary some years ago on how they get water to us and on the processes they use to treat the water.

We all know that chlorine is added to the water. But this documentary clearly stated that 4 to 5 different chemicals are used to treat the water at some point or another. They said 4 or 5 depending on where you live. I'm going by memory. I have not researched it. Nor do I care to research it. Whether 4 or 5 different chemicals is true or not...I don't know. But I do know that one chemical is more than enough for me.

So here's the scenario. You're sick and thinking - why? But most of you are taking supplements that are laced with chemicals (as discussed in my previous blog page) AND you're bathing in chemicals. AND your drinking chemicals. AND this is just the first little step that we're dealing with here...we're not even talking about what you eat, yet.

Your body absorbs quite a bit of water as you bathe. And of course, the chemicals or getting absorbed right along with the water.

Since this is the case. Now this is very basic knowledge. I mean we're still on step one - GET RIDE OF THE CHEMICALS IN YOUR LIFE before you try to buy some miracle product over the internet that's going to have you healthy in only a matter of days after you start to take it. I mean that product is so good that it's practically going to have you healed before you can even open it. If you remember on my very first blog page, one of the things that I said was that I'd be giving you practical advice. Now then, here's the practical advice - with all the power you have get a shower filter on your shower that will at least purify the chlorine out of the water. GET THIS CHEMICAL OUT OF YOUR LIFE as much as possible. Also, go down to the swimming pool supply store, and get an inexpensive bottle of chlorine tester, and test your shower water to make sure the filter is working.

Now it goes without saying that you shouldn't be drinking tap water. And I believe that most of you who are trying to eat healthy do that. But there's a problem. Most people are buying bottled water, which is better than tap water, but they are buying it in plastic bottles. And guess what? Plastic bottles have chemicals that readily and quickly begin to leach into whatever liquid that is contained in them. GET AWAY FROM THESE CHEMICALS. That means you must get away from storing any liquid in plastic. It takes a little effort, but go buy glass containers to store your water. Either use a glass container or in a ceramic container, or buy spring water that's already stored in glass (that's the best way), but it's very expensive. At a minimum get some glass containers, and go down to the grocery store to get water from those big water purifiers. Like I said, I do recommend buying spring water in glass as my first choice. I don't recommend buying still water or mineral water, although they are better than tap water. And distilled water will leach minerals from your body.

Here's the problem with distilled water. First, as already stated it leaches minerals from your body. Second, after the water is purified, what kind of container is the water sitting in? If some kind of plastic or metal not good because both are bad. [This may also be a problem with the big water purifiers at the grocery stores. There might be a certain amount of water sitting in there at all times in some kind of plastic or metal - I don't know this for certain.] If you could get distilled water that sits in ceramic or glass after it is purified and if you could get some good mineral drops to add to the water, it wouldn't be that bad. Getting good mineral drops is another story for another day...good luck on that one. If you do use distilled water with mineral drops, I would probably recommend just using one drop per glass. And if you don't put a drop in every single glass of water - you're probably better off. No need to overdose on mineral drops...serious stuff that stuff can be...especially if the drops aren't that good...which most of them aren't. (And to boot most mineral drop containers are made of what? That's right. They're made of plastic. So the minerals are sitting in plastic just leaching away all of those wonder chemicals. It's all a real joke...isn't it? Let me tell you going to the health food store and trying to get a decent product is near impossible.)

If you have extra money and can afford spring water in glass bottles, Mountain Valley Spring water would be the last or near the last on my list to get. Although it would be light years ahead (and I do mean...light years ahead) of anything else that you might be doing. There are just much better spring waters than Mountain Valley.

Just an idea if you're tight on money: You can get Mountain Valley water delivered to you in many major cities, at least in most of the major cities in the South and West. Of course that first delivery will be expensive because they will want deposits for the big glass water bottles. And then keep those bottles to take them down to the store to get your purified water. You might try this if you can't find large glass containers.

Obviously, a good purifier for your home is a good way to go. I'm sure that if you get a good purifier that it will do just about as good or better of a job as those big purifiers. Truthfully, those big water purifiers aren't all that great, but their water is better than what you have at home if you don't have a filter.

Most shower filters are only going to get out the chlorine. Where as a good filter in the kitchen sink will do more than just chlorine.

If you can afford it, get your kitchen sink filtered, and get your shower filtered, and drink glass bottled spring water.
