JULIA SUTTON, the current president
of the PACIFIC COLLEGE OF ORIENTAL MEDICINE
expresses here support in this YOUTUBE for
support of local, organic farmers and their CSA's.

Julia is encouraged to come visit the local
HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET, 9-2 PM
Sundays. LESLIE GOLDMAN, Your Enchanted Gardener,
and his constant Companion, KEEP THE BEET MEDIA
STAR will be giving tours of the market each week.

This is an opportunity to meet the local Beet Keeper
beet growing farmers, JOE RODRIGUEZ of JR ORGANICS,
PHIL NOBLE of SAGE MOUNTAIN FARM, and BARRY LOGAN
of LA MILPA ORGANICA FARM.

Both JR ORGANICS and SAGE MT's INLAND EMPIRE
CSA have pickup spots at the HILLCREST FARMERS MARKET.

The CSA program is health insurance for the local
BEET KEEPER beet growing farmers. THrough joining a CSA
the member pays in advance for the food. This helps
the farmers pay expenses upfront.

The JR ORGANIC CSA began about three years ago.
It has about 400 members. The CSA size is limited
by water restrictions. JR ORGANIC has spaces for abot
20 more members at the current time.

SAGE MOUNTAIN FARM has the capacity to feed 3000 members
a week, according to Phil Noble.

According to KEEP THE BEET Media Star, the idea of
fostering cooperation between the beet keeper beet grower
farmers expresses a non-competitive healthy atmosphere
that makes food grower better in the county and will
bring needed rain to all the farmers this upcoming wet season.

One of the themes of the Pacific Symposium ENCHANTED GARDEN
INSTALLATION was the highly successful DANCE OF THE HASEEDS.
The Haseeds are a new spiritual earth based movement that seeds
all local organic farmers working together and coordinating their
effectiveness through planing out strategies regarding
food crop choices.

The goal of Keep the Beet's program is to show that through
working together all can benefit. There is no shortage of
mouths to feed who want real food. The question is enlarging
the base of shoopers who recognize that local organic farming
is the backbone of FOOD SAFETY.
