This is a photo I came across
from a Closing Ceremony
at the WHOLE LIFE EXPO in San Diego
at the Convention Center ampitheatre.

There were two events planned for that space.
I had the Closing Ceremony planned for it
in the afternoon and wanted to sanctify
the energy.

Then rain was projected.
The other event was cancelled because of rain.
I held the space all day.
It did not rain.
We had electronic equipment.

About 30 minutes before the time
of the Closing Ceremony,
I left the space and went in.
The moment I entered the building,
it started to rain.
Then it stopped.
There was an enormous rainbow
showing through the glass
as I passed to go and get people for the Ceremony.

When I returned,
in the center of the circle,
I had placed an aloe right over the drain
to let water out.
I did not know I did this.

The aloe acted as a plug.
When we did the Closing,
there was a pond for this Goddess
to prance in.

When I did my poem,
there was rays of sun and bird songs
in harmony with my words.

We were all in an elevated state.
I was surprised by who showed up.

I am leaving it to Spirit to
create another special experience
for the ENCHANTED GARDEN INSTALLATION
scheduled for NOVEMBER 5-8
at the CATAMARAN RESORT HOTEL
as part of the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM.

Our Set up begins at the ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIIONAL COMMUNITY
on Tuesday November 3, at 2:30 PM.
Then, we all met at the Catamaran
at 5;00 to help BILL TALK and others
bring in the plants to create Sacred Space.

The key to a powerful space is the cooperation
and good will of many hands helping.

We will end with a Dance of the HASEEDS.
The Haseeds are a new focus for
a Spiritual Movement of each of
planting our own food.
The HaSeeds are the BEET KEEPERS.

During the event,
you are invited to come and
ROOT YOUR DREAMS,
connecting them with living beet seeds
at the Altar we will set up.

This is a powerful ritual.
It works.

I am asking for rain for San Diego.
We will be dancing at various times
during the Pacific Symposium,
dancing for rain.

You are welcome to come down
at any time during the event to PLANT YOUR DREAM.

You can get a BEET KEEPERS Kit when you come,
a little sugar cane pot, with special
FOX FARM SOIL. We will have organic beet seeds
for you to plant, and a certificate for you to fill out
to take home.

This is an opportunity to bless the dreams
of others who have come before you,
and have your dreams blessed by those
who come after you.

Rain Falls During Live H20 Long Beach, CA Venue

More than fifty participants prayed for rain Friday morning
at Belmont Shores Long Beach, a venue for LIVE H20,
an international event in many places,
billed as a CONCERT FOR THE LIVING WATER.
A Hopi member of the Water Clan, RUBEN SAUFKIE, Sr,
lead an opening ceremony in Long Beach
that combined waters empowered
with prayers and blessings. Some of the water was then given
to the ocean, and some to DR MASURA EMOTO, a keynote speaker
at three-day LIVE H20 Southern California events.
Saufkie, during the ceremony,
asked the group to pray for rain for Hopiland.

Rain fell less than 24 hours later in Long Beach,
and in San Diego, more than 100 miles south.
Rain also fell for six hours in Second Mesa
Arizona, Saufkie's home, where
Kachina dancers offered prayers and songs
in ceremony for two days to bring water
to nurture newly seeded crops.

Ruben Soufkie said that it had been years since
rain fell during one of these two-day ceremonies
on Hopiland.

Southern California is now in drought,
and its own local organic farmers are in
need of help to grow all the food that
is possible.

Maybe its residents need to pray for rain too.

Winter storms 2010


The first in a series of storms pounded the county on Monday. Round 2 arrived Tuesday. Round 3, predicted to be the most severe storm of the bunch,has been drenching the region since Wednesday night.

SAN DIEGO — Like clockwork, what was billed as the biggest storm of the week moved into San Diego County Wednesday afternoon, bringing pelting rain and winds and dropping snow in the mountains.


LEVEL TWO DROUGHT ALERT
JUNE 9, 2009

Effective June 1, 2009, San Diego declared a Level 2 Drought Alert. Level 2 includes many mandatory water restrictions. In addition, all voluntary Level 1 conservation practices became mandatory. The Level 2 restrictions include:
Landscape irrigation is limited to no more than three assigned days per week. Those days are:
Homes with odd-numbered addresses can water: Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday
Homes with even-numbered addresses can water: Saturday, Monday & Wednesday
Apartments, Condos and Businesses can water: Monday, Wednesday & Friday
