Got up with lots of thoughts moving through my head.
I wanted to find the old programs from the
SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATON of 1980,
and the WORLD PEACE CELEBRATION
Starlight Bowl from 1982. Those were
my KICK GAS's and FOODSTOCKS.

Thoughts from the KICK GAS Festival
and the BRIGHT GREEN CONFERENCE yesterday
are rolling through my mind.

I have a sense that one event took energy from the other
and many who ended up dancing into the night
needed the Teachings that were offered in
La Jolla during the Bright Green Sustainable Future Conference.
Many of those teachings at the Bright Green Future COnference
are vital and crucial understandings
needed now by all of us.

The Teachings offered at the Bright Green
Sustainable Future Conference needed
to be transmitted into the lifes and lifestyles
of those who attended Kick Gas.

The leaders who were at Kick Gas
were a vital and necessary part of the Conference
conversation.

Millions of dollars were are coming into
San Diego in the weeks ahead.
We are on the map majorly for
Recovery Funds. There were business
sessions at the Bright Green Sustainable Future
Conference where major Stakeholders want
to partner.

Many of the leaders at Kick Gas
were missing from the room
when the business leaders
were talking.

The US Navy was at the Bright Future Green Conference
because they know that Climate Change is one
of their major defense issues. They are now working
full stream ahead to drive the research they are doing
into the popular imagination.

PRINCE ALBERT of Monico was speaking to
the dancers at Kick Gas.
The Acidification of our oceans is at stake
and is part of our dance.

The City Planners were showing maps of
San Diego for 2030 and 2050.
I may be compost by then, or
one of your children's children.

What we do not with our Dance is crucial.
This is the time to regain the Beat through
being BEET KEEPERS.

A higher level of City wide coordination
is needed if we are to maximize the transformation
needed now.

Where are the maps for where
we want our farms to be?

My friend and Sponsor ANTHONY RUSSO
was one of the sponsors of Kickgas.
He makes the Sugar Cane Bagasse pots,
which are more than biodegradable.
These are compostable and need
to be in Aztec Center.

The little pots I am going to give to plant
dreams at the upcoming PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM
ENCHANTED GARDEN INSTALLATION--
set up 2:30 here and 5;00 PM November 3
at the Catamaran are Anthony's pots.

Teamwork has brought the successes that are coming
to the stakeholders who were at the
BRIGHT GREEN FUTURE conference.
The maps of a San Diego 2030 and City Planning
discussions need to be informed by the thinking
that was Kick Gassing.

A few of us attended both events.
MATT FINKLESTEIN gave a great talk,
and he was followed by SCOTT MURRAY
in the next session who has been farming
here for 35 years. Scott knows that
San Diego was once a growing capital of food
for the whole country.

and more happened during the last early morning hour.

I watchdc old footage from JIM HALL and his ally
EWING who compiled this old footage
from some of the old gatherings we would
do at HEALING WATERS and MADRE GRANDE.

I would like the Kick Gasers to see how we played,
married, and invited the kids into our Sacred Circles.

I saw myself briefly within the first few scenes
of the footage from HEALING WATERS, 76.
We would rub healing mud over our bodies
and dance. No one cared if you had clothes on
or not when we joined in circles.

The drumming and the songs recorded in the
JIM HALL DVD, THE TIMES WE SHARED
I would like to share with you all.

One of these days, the TIMES WE ARE SHARING
now are going to be history.
What are we going to do with these precious moments
as part of our dance?

We need time for the Sacred.
We need time for Wisdom Circles.
That is the contribution the
ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY land
here near SDSU can make.

These trees here need you.
It is your generation that needs to inherit this land
I have been holding since I was a little older than
your ages.

I received this DVD from JIM Hall
of Ocean Beach at my request months ago
but have not taken the time.
It is delightful and I want to thank Jim for doing this
compilation.

I was looking at my own notebooks for saved clippings
seeking out the programs I wanted to show MATT SABLOVE
later in the day at our COME ROOT YOUR DREAM CIRCLE.

It is important that the new generation of KICK GASERS
who were not born when the Jim Hall footaage was recorded
see your roots in the generations before you.

The ball--our Earth Ball--is now coming into your leadership.

Rae, if you are working down at the PRADO
then I want to go down there for lunch and be served
local organic food. You are a past president of e3.
Please. If the college cream of the crop do not
carry forward their college leadership skills,
we are all in for a rocky next ten years.

Congrats to MATT NELSON, and ANNIE, RAE and
JOHN ROSELLI, and all the great collaborators
from SDSU who made Kick Gas a success.

MATt SABLOVE--I want to show you want I
did when I had my FOODSTOCK days.

Wisdom is the application of Knowledge
applied to Experience.

There is some footage of Madre Grande
back in 1970's where MEL LYONS farmed
in the 80's.

Our generation, now in our 50's and 60's
plowed the fields, that you are now reaping.
You all are Called to build up something
greater than any of us have done.

You can do it.
KEEP THE BEET is ROOTING FOR you!

Help the kids now regain their
beat with nature through planting
simple beets and doing simple things.

Now is now. There is immense work to be done
to get back to the dance.

Great Teamwork, beyond anything
we are experiencing now is asked.

It is your Mother Earth who is asking.
