Too much activity in kitchen vicinity to stand
and watch my oatmeal. Be careful not
to let it overflow!

Turning on Performa.

Can I have some success tranfering one
of the layouts of PLANT YOUR DREAM BOOK ONE
to the IMAC?

I do not know how to get in edit mode on
Pagemaker.

Going to check on oatmeal.

Can't make sense of switching from
layout mode to edit mode in Pagemaker 6.5.

I have copied a number of files onto a zip drive
and I am transfering it this way.

More: techno difficulty:
The files are too big to convert to MS word
on the old Performa.

The clock is ticking.
Some anxiety and pressure around the house
to attend to other issues.

Still checking on ability to convert
files on the Imac so I can get rid of
the old Performa 6200CD.

I am rethinking the need to hold
on to this machine just because
of all the work I did formatting.

I want to check to see if I have hard
copies.

I am looking at the value in letting
go of this big machine vs.
retying an updated edition
when I am ready to do that.

I want to make sure most of the material
is not lost in the transfers.

I never did much with this edition...
PLANT YOUR DREAM,
BOOK ONE

I do have a hard copy.
The layout is only accessible in Pagemaker Version
on the old Performa 6200 CD.
It was readable on the g3 Powerbooks,
but both of those machines are not working.

It is a big deal to let go of the months
of work formatting it, but I have moved on
since 1999.

and then look at finding the ORiginal
for the PLANT YOUR DREAM BOOK.

I am working with the idea of letting
go of the old formatted editions and
starting over if I am secure I have the copy.
