Biographical Note:

Leslie Goldman's journey toward flowering began as one of more than 350,000 patients and countless friends inspired by the life and works of Dr. Bernard Jensen, an elder of the natural healing arts, noted for his work advancing Iridology. Once totally crippled with arthritis, Leslie was carried from bed to bed by Dr. Jensen at his Hidden Valley Health Ranch, and guided along the spiritual and natural path. In his days as a patient beginning in 1972, Leslie wrote with Dr. Jensen "Health Magic through Chlorophyll," and "Survive This Day," and has taken many favorite Dr. Jensen photographs. Introduced to the Essene healing arts by Dr. Jensen, Leslie then studied with Edmond Bordeaux Szekely, a twentieth Century Essene renaissance pioneer, and was ordained by him in this tradition. Leslie, an archetypal "wounded he Laler," has entered a time of fulfillment through applying many teachings of his mentors combined with shamanic practices at the root of earth-centered Judaism and other universal teachings. Leslie's life purpose is to demonstrate healing from the inside out, and help inspire the growth of the Enchanted Garden, a name for the new earth. He teaches that growing the Enchanted Garden is a by-product of our own human flowering, and reestablishing the bonds between our highest seed dreams and the earth. His many self-published books, greeting cards, and photographs are appreciated by an international network of friends who spread the message of the Enchanted Garden. through joining the Enchanted Garden Club and signing a Declaration of Interdependence. Called the Enchanted Gardener, and Maggid (storyteller) of the Enchanted Garden, L ˇeslie was given a U.N. Peace Medal for his Johnny Appleseed-like ministry that aims to inspire more green thumbs. Through poetry, teachings, and photography, he helps ground a vision of healing, harmony, and hope for our world. His work awakens us to the healing essences of plants, flowers, and our own inherent wholeness.

What I Can Do Today
to Repair the World:

Get to know where I live, my beloved planet.
Personally say hello today to Mother Earth,
the embodiment of the feminine, who provides
all my material needs by God’s grace;
To offer, morning and evening prayers, as I relish
with deep respect all the divine substance that God
has provided in blessed holy food that grows
from fertile soil made from risen dust.

To realize that a new golden day is dawning
this morning, that this new dawn is mine
if I merely let it in and out.

To realize, God has ordained--I am not alone.
To recognize today that all natural things on earth
grow from seeds that touch soil, and so do I.
Seeds of other men, women, children, grandparents;
seeds of possum, and fox;
seeds of lettuce and tomatoes--these are all seeds
heaven on earth made and are in my safekeeping.
What a magnificent day in creation this is! I am in awe!
What a new birth day for the universe and for me!
Thank God, I am awake to it.
Oh, Happy New Year!
