Ideas this morning
from Keep the beet
and my higher self,
Your Enchanted Gardener:
The world according to keep the beet
is going to be the subject of my next
column in SPACE OF LOVE magazine.
That deadline was yesterday!
Keep the Beet Media Star
the World's First Talking Beet Plant
enjoyed the WHOLE BEING WEEKEND
very much this year.
She always likes it when I
get out of my own way
and do my Ceremony Work.
Friday night,
we had a lovely WHOLE BEING
SHABBAT CELEBRATION
that was attended by af very,
very sweet intimate group
in the ampitheathre of the
new PEACE CENTER at
CAMP BUCKTHORN.
Then later that night,
with the coordination of
soundman GREG SHOCK,
we were able to show slides
of preious years Whole Being Weekends.
I read a poem from
THE REBIRTH OF MOTHER EARTH book.
This book was highly influenced
by the WHOLE BEING WEEKEND.
I began by telling the group that
until Thursday morning,
the day before the start of the weekend,
I did not imagine I had the energy
to attend.
I have really been down the last month
with low energy, almost no energy
and depression.
Having diarrhea for near a year
can be a bit depleting.
Tuesday night, my dear coach
and friend JUDITH LARKIN RENO
was extremely adamant that
i go to bed, go directly to bed
for five days. She wanted me to
take AMODIUM AD, the over the country
diarrhea drug. She wanted to get to urgent care
and get some conventional hard core diarrhea stopping
drug. Then she advised that I do the
BRAT diet that involves eating wonder-type bread,
white rice, applesauce, and....
until my bowel submitted to remembering
how a normal bowel is meant to behave.
Ouch! I really love Judith, but I just take
that kind of treatment!
Thursday morning, I woke up with enough
energy to drive up to Idylwild.
The WHOLE BEING WEEKEND is my drug of choice.
THere is nothing as healing as being loved up
by more than 200 people.
Amazingly, the diarrhea was not a major
problem at the Whole Being Weekend.
It makes me think that it is the stress of living
here in the Enchanted Garden that is irritating
to my bowel.
There is just too much pressure here at home.
I am going to have to change some things,
and I am coming up with a plan.
One of my brightest hopes that emerged
from the weekend came from being of service
to the teens.
There is a really, really, great crop of young people
who have been growing up at the Whole Being Weekend
since they were little kids.
JASMINE KOBART is one of them.
She is my new cheerleader.
Going on 17, we have been talking
since she was a little girl.
The kids thrive at the Whole Being Weekend,
running really free in the safety of so much love
and positive energy.
I also connected with Van, her brother,
and Madeline, Van's sweetheart.
We are making plans for them to come over
and help me with the hardest and most
impossible job of my life--
THE GREAT EARTH CLEANUP.
Some of us imagine that we can clean
up the world someplace out there,
but the truth is, cleaning up the world
has to start in our own backyard.
This is very difficult for me to begin
cleaning up at home. I did not have a happy
teen life myself. That is when my arthritis started
to show up. My mom died when I was 12
and my father ran away from home,
leaving me with a whole houseful of goods,
before I graduated from HIgh School.
Ouch! I was on crutches during my senior
year of High School, and then, during my first
month of college, unable to walk.
I was completely traumatized!
Having those memories makes it easy
to relate to teens today who are also having
a difficult time finding out what to do
with their very special gifts in our cracked up
world.
The answer of course is a no brainer.
Take the WHOLE BEING WEEKEND and
make it a Way of Daily Living.
It is one thing to go to a Cooperative Living
Boot camp for a weekend where everyone is
loving, joyful, and happy, but how do we
bring that kind of love down from the
mountaintop????
That can only begin one seed dream at a time.
Jasmine, Van, and Madeline and I are thinking
of helping each other out.
I need help with the cleanup.
They can use a little Coaching from
Your Enchanted Gardener.
It makes it easier to hear my inner
Enchanted Gardener, my higher self,
when I am happy.
So this sounds like a great, great, way
to approach the Fall season--working out a plan
of mutual support with Jasmine, Van, and Madeline.
Keep the Beet Media Star was just reminding me
of this song, HE'S GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS.
The "His" refers to God.
I was thinking that Mother Earth has the WHOLE world
in her hands.
There are a lot of nutcases (in my opinion)
who imagine that they have the whole world in their hands
right now. The folks attempting to control our seeds
The MONSANTO folks--come to mind.
They actually have the broken down world in their hands
and on their hands.
The "whole" world belongs to all of us.
If we become whole as we are
through partaking of the Love that is
naturally here for us
I am sure we can make every day
Heaven on Earth.
Onward and Upward,
BEET KEEPERS!!!
Finish later...
