Boy, do we need
a Moment of Awakening!
Joe the Farmer with
a headache!

One day Joe the Farmer
was in the field planting
He had a headache
from all the new Red Tape
that the people in Washington
told him he had to Keep! Tomorrow,
someone who inspects food
was coming all the way from
where the government eats
far, far away. There were so
many new laws that Joe the Farmer
and all his Farmer Market Farmer
friends, hardly
had any time to
Keep the Beet, or to plant her
veggie friends.

Joe said, "We really
need a Moment of Awakening!
Keep The Beet heard him loud
and clear. It was then that she
decided to become the first talking
beet plant. At first, she only
talked to The Enchatned Gardener,
and then, as her confidence grew,
to every body who
would listen to a Talking beet!!!
