Opening a Real Estate Office is one of the easiest things in the world to do. It takes very little investment up front and offers the potential of a large cash flow. In a world of huge unemployment , real estate could be your answer. The first thing that you need to have is a real estate license. You can get your real estate license through a home study course and study while you are still working at your job.
Here is a link for a course.

After you have your license, you can legally sell real estate. You will learn nothing thru this course, that teaches you how to have people skills, creative financing or how to get buyers. This must be self taught through your broker. It is required for you to be a licensed real estate agent for 2 years before you can be a broker. Being a broker means you keep all the commission for yourself.
If you are going to open a Real Estate Office, you need to have experience and know how or you will need to have a broker with knowledge. A way to get around all of this is to hire a broker. You will simply agree to pay the broker a fee or a percentage to handle the office paperwork. Normally the owner of the company is a licensed Broker but not always. Hiring a Broker, will also give you time to get your Broker's license and still run a successful business.
You will need to have a office in a good location, for the type of houses you want to sell. It needs to be centrally located and nice looking but not extravagant. You will need to furnish the office and this can be easily done trough auctions. By gong to an auction, you can get beautiful furniture for a fraction of the price. Everything from pictures to vases. You will need several desk for the employees and a desk for the secretary. It is very important to have a beautiful sign on the building. So many business start with just some lettering on the windows, but it is not enough. If you want to attract top business clients then you must look successful.
You do not need a huge office or in the best area, but try to think of how you would feel. If you had a million dollars and looking for an agent, would you hire someone whose office was in the worse area of town with cheap furniture? No, of course not. It does not take a lot of money, but some careful planning.
You need to go to the city and choose a name and finding a name is not difficult. You will need a business license, business phones
