Destiny: Finding Love

I was watching the movie today, "Little Women". Don't you just love that movie? It is so real and so happy, I wish life was only that easy. I came away from the movie deciding to get married and be happy like Jo. But wait, life just isn't like that.

Jo has a long time friend Teddy and he falls in love with her and she thinks of him just as her friend, her buddy and has no feelings for him at all.

Teddy is crushed and vows he will never love anyone but her, liar, liar. He then ends up marrying her sister. Men, shhhhhh.

She goes off to conquer the world where she meets this professor named Frederick and he is very poor and of course very handsome. He courts her and they fall in love and he does the ultimate no, no and tells her the truth about her writings and she runs away. As she is about to leave she gets a telegram that poor Beth is dying. So she runs very quickly to Beth's side and gets there right before she dies. Everyone just loves poor Beth. Beth dies as the wind comes into the room, the angel of death takes her away.

Oh poor dear, Frederick does not write at all and Jo writes a new book and sends it to him in hopes he can see the real Jo. So he publishes her book and he comes to deliver the book and gets the shock of his life.

Now when he gets there he learns that the misses has married dear sweet Teddy so he assumes it is Jo and he runs off. When she sees the book on the table she ask her aunt where is the man who brought the book. Her aunt tells her that she told him that Teddy had married. Jo runs after him and explains to him that it was not her that married Teddy but her sister and everyone is so very happy. Now it is pouring down rain and he tells her that he has nothing to give her. He says, "My hands are empty." She tells him, as she puts her hands in his, "Now they are not empty."
