There is a bad smell coming from
underneath the kitchen porch
here at the ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY.

CHEF JEM put on his baasement GREAT EARTH CLEAN UP
white putfit that makes him look like the Easter Bunny.
He was cleaning the outer area of the deck to see under
the porch. He could not find the dead rat.

I was leaving for the birthday party of Scott and Anna
while he was doing this.

I hesitated and asked him if he might be coming over to the
birthday party. He was occupied.

This was the day of our last Sunday of the Month
COME ROOT YOUR DREAM Gathering.

The day went beyond my expectations.

I did not have time to put energy into the planning
of the event. MATT SABLOV created an EVITE,
but he mailed it out a couple days before the event,
so only one person responded.

I see this as needing a whole lot of time
to bring more people in.

Actually, the number of people who showed up
was a perfect number.

I am going to upload those pictures
this morning.

I do not want to miss recording this profound success.

Chef Jem did spend some time in the kitchen
with CAT prepping a salad, but then he went to take his
bath during the time we gathered for the circle.

This was one of the most profound moments of
community building in the history of our house,
this Third Come Root Your Dream gathering.

Three members of our household participated,
ANNA, SCOTT, and ANGELENE. Oh, four members
counting me.

We also had CHRIS MANZI and guest VENESSA CUNNINGHAM,
MATT and CAT, and two new potentional allies,
JOSH DODHTA, and DOROTHEA SOTIROS,

I want to enter their data and put some of the photos
up on FACEBOOK.

ANGELENE went to the party.

She said she was going to look up Rat in
TED ANDREWS animal book.

She suspected from memory that the Rat represents
community.

We have been having a definite split here,
causing me great pain. We are not all on the same page,
many of us who live here.

I feel to hang some overdue laundry
I washed the other day on the clothes line.

I may take another early morning nap.

I need more recovery time.

Sorry for the inconvenience...
We have had a rat die before under the porch.
Let let nature take its course.
The bad smell will disappear in five days for less.

I do not want you to take apart the deck
to find remove the dead animal.

Likely, by the time you take apart the deck
and someone rebuilds it, the corpse smell will be gone.

I appreciate your effort and desire.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

I am getting some writing out of the way
and then focusing on meeting my sales tax
deadline. That is tomorrow.
