Douglas James Cottrell Newsletter

Wow, I can only tell you my first experience at Douglas’s Miracle Transformation Event was absolutely amazing. No, I really mean it, it was amazing!!

Last Sunday in Hamilton, at the beautiful Hamilton Beach Rescue Hall, we were privileged to have Douglas teach us about being successful and fulfilling in our destinies. The room was filled and many families with their children attended. The room was full of love. Some people in wheelchairs attended and they all felt the healing energy penetrate into their legs and feet. I’ve got to tell you this, we are all a little skeptical, aren’t we when we see people faint after they get a blessing from Douglas. But, I’ve got to tell you, one couple wrote a heart-felt thank you note to Douglas recounting that they both received a miracle healing from Douglas. As they described in their note both of them suffered from “frozen shoulder” joint pain. First the lady came up and Douglas proceeded to bless her and put his hands around her shoulder area. A few moments later, he asked her “how do you feel?” “Much better,” she said as she hesitantly began to move her right arm and shoulder. “Go ahead and try it out,” Douglas said. We all held our breath as the women slowly raised her arm up above her shoulder. “Oh, oh,” she said, “I haven’t been able to do this in years.” “Do you feel any pain?” “No, not at all,” she said grinning from ear to ear. We could see her moving her arm all the way back to her seat. Douglas went on with the next several people. Then her husband stood before Douglas. ”What do you want,” he asked. The man began to complain about the pain in his arm as he supported it in front of Douglas. Douglas began to bless his forearm with his healing hands and then proceeded to move up the arm, through the biceps and finally at the shoulder. Now, the man never told Douglas the shoulder was the problem. But, in the same way Douglas controlled the healing energy and directed it into the man’s pectoral and trapezium muscle areas. Again, a miracle was performed. Instantly, the man could move his arm, just like his wife and he continued with this new freedom back to his seat. You have to agree, that was pretty amazing stuff. I’ve got their hand written testimony for any of you who might want to read it. (:>) I must say I was absolutely in awe with what happened next

There I was, sitting in my chair, enjoying a profound sense of peace. I could feel the loving energy swirling around the room when all of a sudden just to my left, a lady in a red blouse sitting in the front row, fell right off her chair and crashed onto the floor. She seemed to be unconscious. Talk about astonishing! We all almost jumped out of our seats.

The lady began to shake. Her arms and legs twitched uncontrollably. Douglas calmly finished laying hands on a man to the left of this collapsed woman. I looked around and the other team members seemed to be taking this episode in stride. I’m sure some people thought the lady was having an epileptic seizure, possibly going into diabetic shock or even cynically, making this up. The lady convulsed and thrashed around on the floor in such a fashion that someone whispered should we call 9-1-1?

Douglas stood by the lady for about 20 minutes. He was waving his hands in the air and making what looked like the sign of the cross. Douglas was praying to God Almighty and then I heard him say in a raised voice, get out and stay out!

He repeated this command 2 more times. He had already splashed a little water from the Saint board basin on the woman's forehead. Was this an exorcism, I wondered. Everyone was frozen in their seats, except for the team members who came closer with their hands raised, assisting with the healing process. I’m sure, the new people there, couldn’t believe their eyes. A woman fell out of her chair, onto the floor, thrashing around as if an electric shock was going through her body. I saw Douglas turn and face the Saint board and the woman sat up. As he turned around back toward her, she fell back to the floor unconscious. Douglas thought for a moment and curiously, I thought, turned away again facing the Saint board. The woman immediately sat up and recovered. She had no idea what just happened. I offered the lady some water and someone else provided Kleenex. Douglas came over and said did you feel something come out of you? She said with great liberation, OH, Yes, I feel so much better now. Apparently, at other healing events with similar behavior, this amnesia affect seems to be common for those who receive an expulsion blessing.

Douglas proceeded next with blessing the children and some others who were waiting. He was visibly tired and someone overheard him remark, that was a tough one.

I’m glad to report, the lady left pardon the pun, in good spirits. As one of the volunteers said, you never know what’s going to happen at the MTEs, from miracles to expulsions. I don’t know how Douglas does it, but, this is evidence that God Almighty was here today.
