Taking the 20 Gallon Challenge Plus how much more do we have to cut back our usage so we do not get a fine?

Working with the water bill the last couple hours.

I have a concern that we are going to get fined.

I want us each to to take this 20 Gallon Challenge:

I have never studied the water bill this closely.
I still have to call the Water Department.

It appears that the more you use,
the more it costs.

How come it was less last two months?
$225.00.

and...

$104.00 the two months before?

What other questions to understand this?
