ERIN LANNON, incoming president of e3 San Diego State Uniiversity
with a lettuce from JOE RODRIGUEZ, Jr. This lettuce was growing in the ground the day before. Regular lettuce goes from the farm to the warehouse
to the store. It is seldom as fresh as local. A lo of food is being left over
at the HILLCREST FARMERS' MARKET. I imagine bringing some of it here
and have the nearby SDSU students have a pickup. I would give my farmer
friends.

Still looking at all the left over locally, organic food
from the Hillcrest Farmers' Market.
A whole lot of it goes unsold.
Yesterday, we had a highly successful second
meeting of the BEET KEEPERS, RETURN '09.
I had no idea it was going to turn out this way.
I could have been more prepared in advance.
I am going to write about that success in another
PLANT YOUR DREAM BLOG.
