San Diego 'Recession Help Expo' Lineup Growing Fast

San Diego, California April 29, 2009 --

Free Recession Help Outreach Expo May 30th at San Diego's Downtown Embarcadero will provide aid, assistance, help and information for the public across a broad range of topics and for every socio-economic level.

From qualifying for food stamps and family assistance programs to mortgage help, thrifty living and finding work, The Recession Help Expo at the Holiday Inn On The Bay will also present support for small business, promotion of women's entrepreneurialism, and hedging and investment strategies in these times of economic contraction.

The May 30th Expo program format will open it's doors to the public at 8:30am, and include featured economics and Recession speakers, 32 Recession Help Workshops, and local regional and State Government leaders speaking on the Recession in a special program segment from 1pm to 2pm.

Attendees can expect to be able to meet one on one with financial help professionals, get answers to tough questions on bankruptcy, mortgages and short sales, meet with various recruiters and job listing firms, learn how to pay debt of faster and be inspired to make different choices and decisions to get by.

Outreach groups and non-profit assistance programs of all kinds exhibiting at the Expo include Low Cost Housing Program, The Public Utilities Commssion, Small Business Financing and Caoching from the SBA and SCORE, Employment development providers, City of San Diego Economic Development and Small Business programs and the Urban League. Targeted program tracks include emphasis on Women in Business, Credit and Finance, Hispanic Outreach, Career Education and Training, Job Search Strategies, Small Business Help, Investing and retirement, low-cost living and cross-border resources.

Organized by Bart Allen Berry, Founder of HereToHelp.US, the National Recession Survival Resources Web Portal, The Recession Help Expo will go on the road after the San Diego kickoff event in May. Subsequent Recession Expos will be hosted one per month in the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York and Washngton DC by the end of September.
