MAKADA DREAD, founder of the WORLDBEAT CULTURAL CENTER in
BALBOA PARK asked everyone to clean up after the Earth Day Concert
using PERF GO GREEN BIODEGRADABLE bags. Available at CVS locally
in So Cal, the bag are avaiable around the country. Black trash bags
can take up to 800 years to decompose. These bags are made
from old plastic bags and biodegrade in two years or less.

I am looking over results for
Recycling Successes at the Earth Day events I did.

KEEP The BEET and I were looking at various ways
to advances our GREEN HEROES of SUSTAINABILITY.

We had some advances that we know we
grow and succeed further through the year
at at next year's Earth Day events.

PERF GO GREEN BIODEGRADABLE Trash Bags,
an alternative to the black plastic that last for
500-800 years was introduced to the
already exceptional recycling projects
done at the SAN DIEGO EARTH FAIR,
the largest Earth Day event in the US,
if not the world.

They had containers for trash and recycling,
as well as compostable food items.

I introduced the PERF GO GREEN bags to
a number of the stations that were throughout
Balboa Park, the location for Earth Fair.

During the Children's Parade,
I spent the morning with KEEP The BEET's
allies from SUPREME MASTER TV. This
group promotes Vegan living. Their slogan
is Be Veg. Go Green. The Perf Go Green bags
are a natural fit. The quality of person who
joins this movement makes vegan living very
inviting!!! What beauty, grace, and welcoming
spirit among those who love Supreme Master
Ching Hai. This is an outstanding ministry.
I am sure Perf Go Green, as well as
KEEP The BEET Media Star are going to continue
to make friends here.

At the end of the day, I watched the teardown.
and made a friendship with one of the directors
of the City of San DIego Environmental Services.
(I.D. to follow...). He was very interested in the bags.

There was also a separate Earth Day event at
the World Beat Cultural Center. MAKADA DREAD,
my dear friend, and founder of the center, took
the PERF GO GREEN bag onstage. It was used
in the cleanup of this event that had more than 500 people.
Makeda wants the PERF Go Green bags for her center
that has weekly events. She stages major music events
throughout the year.

At the San Diego State Earth Day event April 22,
KEEP The BEET and members of the Enchanted Garden
Intentional Community had a table.

The PERF Go Green Trash bags were again introduced
on our table with enthusiastic response.
We need to get the right bag size to fit the SDSU trash
containers for next year.

One of the great allies made at the SDSU Earth Day
was CUANDO BROWNLEE. This eco-activist has an
great program going with create Green Collar Jobs
through numbers of his recycling projects.

He wants to integrate the Perf Go Green Bags in his
Youth Program this summer. I am going to put him
in Touch with my friends at Perf Go Green.

CUANDO came over to the ENCHANTED GARDEN
INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY for our first Last Sunday
of the Month BEET KEEPERS, RETURN! '09 Gathering.
He bought his two sons. We looked at the various
Perf Go Green bag samples.

On Saturday, the day before, there was a GREEN
CAREER CONFERENCE sponsored by the LIVING SOLAR
INSTITUTE and other partners.

I made friends with ARUN KUMAR
a consultant forGlobal Renewable Energy Power Inc.
Arun was enthusiastic about the Perf Go Green Bags.
He does work in India. We want to hook up some
draught tolerant seeds for a SDSU farming project.

ANTHONY ZOLEZZI is one of the main inspirations behind
GREENOPS, a new Recycling Redemption project
that launches on Earth Day. GrEENOPOLIS is the
Social Network site. I am sure there are going
to be companies using plastic blottles for years.
This is a great project to make sure that those
producing drinks and other products in plastic
begin responsible for a program that sees
the bottles they sell are returned to the store
that sells it.
