Busy Day!!!!
I had to take time yesterday
to rest after two days
of heavy activity.

This morning,
I worked on wrapup from
The FOOD FAIR at the EARTH FAIR '09.

Regrouping now:

Where is the unload area for
the first SDSU Farmers' Market?
Where do I drive in????

Where do I want to show on
my table???

I want to focus on KEEP the BEET Media Star...
introducing her program for
ONE POT+ONe Person=You're a Gardener
to the students of SDSU.

I want to Seed a connection
between our Nearby University and
The Enchanted Garden Intentional Community.
We are located within walking distance of this
35,000+ University.

I want to seed and begin informing the students
about two ongoing events we will be having
here.

I will also introduce a few of the Friends
of KEEP The BEET who are deeply involved
in THE GREAT EARTH CLEANUP, a
global and local consciousness raising event
that begins in our own backyard.

Boy, do we have a job here at home!!!!!!
It will take a lot of student involvement
working together to manage the work
on this property.

Sunday was all about making friends
with the other group in town who
are involved with food growing and Food Justice.

My main issue with local food Justice
is raising awareness that our local, organic farmers
need to wake up each morning and be able
to say Happiness is Organic.

We are currently in a water crisis.

There is a 20 Gallon Challenge going on
that asks each person to cut back 20 gallons....
I met some very committed people
at a Press Conference ten days ago who
have launched a campaign called
STAND FOR LESS.

My desire is to see water from the
20 Gallon Challenge go to support
local, organic farmers.

This is a crucial issue.
It is an issue of Food Justice.
We can't keep ignoring our local Food Source,
especially in San Diego where we can grow food.

MUDDY POTTING SOIL
