I am convinced that my long-time prayers for some local-made old-fashioned liver sausage have been answered as of yesterday afternoon when I met Josh at the North Park Farmers Market in San Diego! Josh says they have already been putting together the hardware needed to make liver sausage - and if you read my last Blog you'll have some idea of how much that means to me! I stopped taking cod liver oil over a year ago and consequently my need for fat-soluble vitamin rich foods has increased as a result. And as much as I love my Organic Pastures raw butter there is a limit on how much butter I can eat. If I told you how much I do eat you may not believe me so let's just say I eat a lot of raw butter! When the liver sausage and possible liver pate' comes available I can go lighter on the butter even though I whole heartily agree with Sally Fallon (of Nourishing Tradition fame as well as the Weston A. Price Foundation) that butter is the number one health food!
