I just woke up.

It is time to wake up.

Yesterday was a difficult day,
I got to bed somewhere after 8:30 PM.
I ate a lot of different things yesterday,
and so what goes in, comes out.

I was up for the first time
to eliminate after 10:30 PM.

Lots of poisons expressing here,
tongue lashing too early in the day
from a fellow Scorpio who is a woman.

We had an early morning
House meeting.

Ouch!

I carried to to the FM.

I was weary in spirit and in body.

A few sweet faces to look into.

Joe the Farmer AKA Joe Rodriguez stayed until
2, the new closing hour at the Hillcrest FM.
I stayed too till the end.

He had the Biggest, most luscious strawberries.
Local, organic...these are the ones that Joe
had in our HILLCREST WHOLE FOODS STORE
back in 06, when I did an experiment to
bring local, organic foods to that store.

DAVE wanted me to set up a little Farmers Market
at that store. He wanted nothing for the effort.
He just wanted it there to help.

I went into Hillcrest Whole foods on Saturday.
Connie Price, who is one of my dearest at the
store, gave me a hug. She was so happy to see
me. She wanted to know if I knew a source of
Lambs Quarters. This is some new book out on
that weed, rich in minerals, that grows wild
on Joe's Farm.

Joe has some lambs quarters, and BARRY LOGAN
of LA MILPA ORGANIC FARM had two beautiful
varieties.

Barry also has the sweetest of helpers now,
who remembered my name.

Oh, I so need to look straight into the eyes
of love and have someone say my name.

There are other parts of my life that are so very difficult
right now, but it is also time to Count the Blessings
and SO there are so Many Blessings!!!!!!!!

Saturday, I had a Seed Dream come true!!!!

I have been working on this one for 14 years.....

I signed my first contract with a professional
publisher a few months ago.

It was a small contract, but very large
because it Opened the Door.

Six photos went in THE ULTIMATE GARDENER.

I thought I was going to get $200.00.

Friend LIORA LEAH was my coach on this one.
She deserves credit for getting me off my butt
and meeting this deadline. I likely would not
have stopped if she hadn't giving me big push.

I misread the contract.

It was $200.00 for each photo, not
$200.00 for all the photos.

The check was for $1200.00.

There was something even bigger.

TERI POLOSI, the staff person at HCI who
sheparded me through the contract stage
and the editing of my Bio, did an incredible job
of rewriting as well as honoring the words
I wanted in the Bio note.

KEEP The BEET Media Star got good billing
in my Bio note, and this is also huge.

Here is the kicker.

This book, THE ULTIMATE GARDENER,
morphed from an inspiration I gave
to ally PETER VEGSO, the publisher of
HCI, Health Communications, Inc.

Originally, I was to coordinate the writing
of the book, but with so much going on,
that was way to big of a project.

PETER and team could not have picked
a more appropriate author to have his name
on the cover.

CHARLIE NARDOZZI is listed as the author
on this compilation book that features
40 short stories, CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL style,
as well as the work of 15 photographers.

Google Charlie Nardozzi....
I am going to do that now...

Trip back East?

O.K. but here is the main work for this SUMMER...
THE WORK is right here at home....!!!!!!!!

I have been Cleanup up in our backyard
for two summers....

This will be the third...
This will be the Charm!!!

We are going to get it done this
time!!

Not only did we have a morning meeting,
but we had an afternoon meeting
with CHEF JEM, SCOTT, PARIS, and me.

We talked about the Cleanup.

Before I went in I looked around the back yard.

Oh my God....!!!!!

It does not look as if the watering is working.

I better get some hoses out there.

Then, the Mess!!!

Unbelievable.

IT is debilitating.

I have been thinking about
doing some cleanup of the Trash at
Balboa Park for Earth Day.

There is a much of commercial size bags coming
later today from PERF GO GREEN.

I thought to use them at the FM too.

FIrst Priority:

RALLY FOR THE EARTH.

Reclaim the Garden...here....

This is the focus...

This is going to be fun too!

I am going to call in my Feng Shui Master friends
as well as TOTALLY TRACI, the Bikini Flint.

I am going to call in REBECCA DIAMOND...
of Braingems...and

SARA A MATTHEWS, of Spellbound.

I want to make a production out of this cleanup!!!!

This is BIGGER than just us.

We are going to need reinforcements,
BIG TIME!!!!!!

Students from SDSU...E3,
and the Nutrition club.

We need to come out the other end
in Fall, reclaiming the Garden.

Back to bed.
