The ECOUSABLE water bottles have been
a hot item here at the
ENCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY.

I met MARC WOLLMAN at the PERF GO GREEN EXPO LA
in December.

I got a very special designer bottles from him.
This was soon replaced with a filtration device
that is totally amazing.

The filter can take out 99.9% of most of the
junk in tap water. It can take out not only chlorine
but florine!!!!!!

Floride, some of my friends, say is a dumb down
additive in our drinking supply.

The filter also takes out glardia and other infectious
bacteria that can be found when out camping.
This filter works will transform most water supplies
to pure water.

At the NATURAL PRODUCT EXPO WEST (NPEW) I met up
with JOEY MENDELSOHN, president and CEO
of ECOUSABLE. We had a real brotherly connection,
with lots of heart, soul, and inspiration.

I really love this bottle and especially
the new filtering device that can convert up
to 100 gallons. That's almost a year's supply
of water for many people. At that point the filter
can be replaced.

At the NPEW, I met CARL PALMER. of SEYCHELLE
water filtration prducts.

Carl is the invention of this filter that is being
used in the Ecousable stainless stel bottles.

Carl had a drinking bottle filled with potting soil,
I mean the real thing.

He placed one of the filters on the bottle,
and poured out some of the water.

I was totally amazed.
The Water tasted better that out of my own
home filter.

I brought my Ecousable water bottle to
my acupuncture treatment a couple weeks
after the NPEW. WARREN SHEIR, the supervisor
of the students, another friend, sized this up
and ordered one online on the spot.

This is a time when we can hardly justify
using plastic bottles. They are not energy efficient.
There is a massive effort beginning now to clean up
our oceans of all the plastic bottles we have discarded.
There is enough used pumped plastic out there
to keep us busy for years as we start projects
to clean it up.

I also feel it is a good idea to have each store
become responsible for taking back the plastic they use
and turning that plastic into valued commodities.

And then, we come to this stainless steel
Ecousable bottle. I believe it can really help us
take back the tap.

I have bonded with my Ecousable Stainless stell bottle
and I am starting to eliminate the use of other plastic bottles
in my life at least for water uses.

I am going to order about ten of these on consignment
and have them available for members of our household
an friends on the road.

ECOUSABLE also has a number of other projects going
where they contribute funds to worthwhile causes.
