Melissa latest Cheerleading project,
building an high energy team
of Lady Ambassadors for GREENOPS.
GreenOps is advancing an
Evolutionary approach to putting
higher value on our plastic waste.
ANTHONY ZOLEZZI, sustainability expert,
knows well the talents of Melissa McGinnis.
One of the world's leading Eco-Entrepreneurs
and sustainability experts,
Anthony had Melissa build up PET PROMISE,
a great company that set out to
create one of the greatest Pet foods around
based on the highest quality ingredients.
PET PROMISE's underlying goal was to take
on this problem: Many family farmers
could sell various meat products, but there
was heavy waste in that industry. Through
finding markets for other valuable animal
meat products, these family farmers were able
to take moves toward making ends meet.
PET PROMISE also took on the issue of
our buffalo herds. They encouraged the
ranching of buffalo. This result, managing
the buffalo, helped protect many of the buffalo
as sell as expand the herds. Some of the meat
does go for the animal pet food, but the buffalo
as a species have been saved from further extinction.
A fictional account of PET PROMISE and its mission
is told in the book HOW DOG FOOD SAVED THE EARTH.
That book was co-authored by KORY SWANSON
and Anthony Zolezzi.
DR. ANDREW WEIL M.D., a dog lover, joined the
PET PROMISE TEAM as an advisor. He wanted his
own dog companion to have the best possible food.
It was Melissa McGinnis who did the cheerleading
for PET PROMISE, getting the word out and creating
highly inventive marketing concepts. Inventive
marketing concepts are her signature.

She has been introducing the new GREEN OPS
ECOSTATIONS at WHOLE FOODS MARKETS in
Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. EDDIE CASTRO,

visited with Melissa and Lead Ambassor
ANNIE KAHN at the Natural Product Expo West.
The test marketing at WFM was highly successful under
Melissa's guidance. At the NATURAL PRODUCT EXPO WEST,
In March 09, Melissa was responsible for conceptualizing,
planning, and executing the show displays, and beyond.
The GREEN OPS Ambassadors, including outfit designer
AMANDA are all staffed by Melissa McGinnis Productions
(MMP). The outfits that many of the ambassadors made,
were created out of plastic, both bottles and other plastic
materials.
Whenever Anthony and Melissa take on a project
KEEP The BEET knows there is some outcome that
is going to bring our world closer to being
the ENCHANTED GARDEN it is intended to be.
Lots of animal life in the ocean are now suffering
from many of us using the seas as a dump site.
Much of this is not intended, but through the new
GREENOPS ECOSTATIONS, more and more people
are becoming aware of the need to treat plastic
as a valued commodity. This especially makes
good dollars and sense when a school or group
can do collection drives, bring it to the GreenOps
Ecostation, and receive money.
The GREEN OPS ECOSTATION Program, educates
motto is "Don't Trash it. Track it."
The system involves a Blue Dot that will be
placed on products from a specific store.
The program brings is good for the stores
involved, raising a good feeling among customers
of each individual store that the store
where they are spending money is concerned
about the natural resources it is using.
KEEP The BEET Media Star reminds us all
that we are borrowing the resources of her
planet. She wants us all to becoming increasingly
aware. She sez that through planting a beet in
a pot, just one meet, we can regain our confidence
that we can grow our own food. Her goal
is a nation of gardeners, who are waking up
to living in the Enchanted Garden.
The goal of Green Ops is Customer Engagement--
provide customers with an interacive and educational
recycling experience.
Green Ops has Redemption programs that support
state mandated redemption requirements.
The GreenOps Ecostations use individual and charitable
models that help out schools and other groups
raise funds for their projects as they get beyond
making sure that plastic bottles and more are returned
to the ECOSTATION.
Many companies are joining the ECOSTATION program,
The Ecostation program is geared up to launch on
a bigger scale on Earth Day.
KEEP The BEET Media Star will be out reporting on details
of that launch as they occur, and likely making some
celebrity appearances with the other Green Ops Ambassadors.
