INEEKA TEAS and a new product
they are making, a Bier, as they spelled it,
impressed KEEP The BEET Media Star
The World's First Talking Beet Plant
today at the Fresh Ideas Tent

I spent some time with SHAKANK GOEL
from India. He had two assistants with him
that both impressed KEEP the BEET Media Star.

I was first drawn in by tree wine size glasses
of green tea, hops and barley.

I am a barley grain fan.
Barley is one of our original grains.

Shakank is growing is lovely teas in India.

He supports about 25,000 people who are
part of families who live on the land where the
tea is grown.

The tea is grown by Demeter Biodynamic standards.

That is beyond Organic in my book.

I believe he had heard of Peter Dukich, my ally,
who made biodynamic compost for 50 years.

The Bier as they called it was made from grains and hops
in Germany. By next year Shakank aspires to have this
be Biodynamically grown as well.

I had a cup of tea.

KEEP the BEET was very impressed.

One of the assistants wrote:

Dear KEEP The BEET,

We are delighted that you were able to visit with us
at the Natural Product Expo today. It was a pleasure
to share our organic, biodynamic teas grown on our
family farms in the Himalayas. We look forward
to sharing an organic beer (brewed with organic
hops, barley, green tea and ginger) with you.

Kindest regards,
Ineeka
