Only ahead by 2 points

I rode 15 miles today and yesterday. That gives me 2 points for my friend's and my competition. My friend did a lot of physical labor yesterday, so I am giving him 1 point. I am only ahead by 1, and I need to make sure I get the next couple of days in because I will be traveling for 4 days at the end of the week.

Although I missed day 1 ironically enough, I am feeling better already. It looks like it is supposed to rain/sleet/snow tonight and be fine tomorrow morning.

So I am hoping to get another ride in tomorrow morning. It will be about 33 degrees with a wind chill of 24. I have the wind-proof pants and boots. Although the boots were not 100% warm in 39 degrees, so I need to see if I can find some warm socks somewhere. I also need a better wind-proof coat. I could wear my Spyder down coat. I know, I know. For those of you in much colder climates, I will be the first to admit that I am a wimp when it comes to the cold.

I am looking forward to the changes I will experience!
