History of Grass as I Know It by YourEnchantedGardener .....

Growing grass from wheat berries is a practice we do here at the Enchanted Garden Intentional Community. The Grass I grew for the Enchanted Garden Installation at the Pacific Symposium '08 was a highlight of our display. Grass growing was also a metaphor that was used at the recent Perf Go Green Expo. I like that!

Grass growing in containers at the PACIFIC SYMPOSIUM '08
at the CATAMARAN HOTEL.

Got a bottle of CHEF JEM's grass juice grown
from wheat in the frigerator.

He is growing it on a regular basis now
for its rich chlorophyll content.

Professor EDMOND BORDEAUX SZEKELY
was more into feeling the Vital Forces of grass
that growing it to juice.

The quote from GEORGE WASHINGTON CARVER
is from one of his books where he describes
BIOGENIC MEDITATION. This involves absorbing
and reawakening our own Vitality through
connection with grass that is grown in
containers.

At the recent Enchanted Garden Installation
at the Pacific Symposium '08 November 09
the grass we grew in three yellow buckets
filled with Foxfarm Forest and Ocean Potting soil
was the highlight of our exhibit for many.

Our Enchanted Garden installation was stationed
right across from registration. More than 400 people
would pass through a six foot passage with the registration
on their right, and the grass on the left.

The Enchanted Garden Installation against a windowed
wall of the Catamaran Hotel is our yearly location.
This was one of our most appreciated installations
over the more than 12 years I have been doing these
displays of living organic foods and plants.

The highlight of our display--from a feedback point of view--
was the growing grass in the three yellow pots.

I asked CHef Jem to plant this about five or more days
before the start of the conference.

On set up day, a Wendesday, all that was visible in the buckets
was a topping of the Foxfarm potting soil with some small grasses
pushing through.

The conference went for five days.

Each day there was an extraordinary burst of green.

By the final day the grass was at least four or five inches high
in the three pots.

The growth was profound for most people. I used the grass
as my main metaphor in the Closing Ceremony I did on Sunday morning.

"If this is how fast things can grow naturally, how fast can we grow
when there is nothing standing in our way?" I said, or something
like that.

Container Gardening will be the focus of most of my outreach
in 2009, aside from inviting others to come here to the
EnCHANTED GARDEN INTENTIONAL COMMUNITY here in
San Diego to participate in helping us either with the
GREAT EARTH CLEANUP, or helping to get our some of our
soil growing food.

KEEP the BEET Media Star,
The World's FIrst Talking Beet Plant
will have much of my personal focus
as well as making progress with my own
investment in clearing and organizing the
masses of notebooks and archives that are
now under the Olive Tree in the backyard
covered with PERF GO GREEN DROP CLOTHES.

I will be putitng the PERF Go Green Trash Bags
to go use as well.

In our Basement, we still have some black mold
on the walls. I am looking forward to using the
MOLD BLASTER gallon, a product in R & D that
TONY TRACY of Perf Go Green sent in response
to my call for help.

The Great Earth Cleanup here at home will be
my focus as soon as I complete on my
PERF Go Green Expo Wrapup.

I have been working on these blogs and web gallery
uploads since January 24.

There will be three more Perf Go Green Expos in other
cities this year. I can see going to one later in the Spring.

Grass growing was one of the themes on the
promo card for the Los Angeles Expo.

I used that card, and the attendee badge from
the VIP Party for the Planet to do some rituals
for the success of the PERF Go Green Expo.

Here is a web Gallery of some of my Super Ripe Photos
that I took her in the garden to
instill a sense that the grass is still growing.
